Responsibilities:

• Provide feedback, propose and implement improvements on the existing property management processes and procedures as necessary to ensure smooth and efficient running of the properties.
• Manage any larger scale maintenance, repair or upgrading works as necessary.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators for the Maintenance Department and take corrective action, as required, to improve equipment inventory, quality audit, productivity, and other objectives.
• Hire, train, supervise and communicate departmental/individual job goals to all employees in the Maintenance team. To continuously monitor and appraise job performance of the team.
• Manage and supervise the maintenance team to achieve the following objectives.
• Ensure building facilities and equipment are maintained as recommended and in good condition.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations e.g. fire safety, workplace health & safety.
• Work with and develop positive relationships with external suppliers of facility services such as cleaning, security, equipment maintenance etc.
• Obtain quotes for building services/maintenance/repairs as necessary and putting up for management approval.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify building defects/irregularities, and propose and follow up on improvement/rectification works.
• To do diagnostic testing and inspection for all electrical, mechanical equipment and to arrange for any faults to be rectified, and to report any equipment that are not operating normally.
• To do diagnostic testing and inspection of air-conditioning system including fan coil unit, compressor, control IC board and piping works for both preventive and repair work.
• To manage the stocks for spare parts for all M&E, electrical works and to ensure that the stock level is sufficient for the normal operation of the hotels.
• To monitor the maintenance schedule of the hotel maintenance sub-contractors and to ensure that contractors carry out their work as per schedule and the standard of work is to the specification. Report to the COO if here is any variance noted.
• To suggest and undertake any improvement works to the hotel facilities, M&E services, equipment which benefit the hotels in term of cost, efficiency, safety & image.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of building maintenance and property management processes for industrial or office building.
• Resourceful, self-motivated and possess a spirit of excellence as well as team player.
• Independent and able to manage and maintain positive relationships with the service providers and government authorities.
• Decision maker with confidence and influence and guide a team.
• Possess good interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
• Service-oriented with good personality.
• Certified FSM is an added advantage.

Job Description

The Manager/Assistant Senior Manager plays a key role in managing experiential learning courses within the MBA curriculum, including Launch Your Transformation and the MBA Consulting Project, while driving corporate outreach to source high-quality, real-world projects for students. This position focuses on building strong relationships with industry partners, collaborating with faculty and internal stakeholders, and ensuring that experiential learning courses and initiatives provide high-quality, relevant, and career-enhancing learning experiences aligned with the MBA programme’s objectives.

1. Corporate Outreach & Project Sourcing

• Identify and secure MBA Consulting Projects aligned to student’s learning objectives
• Build and maintain strong industry relationships to support consulting projects, MBA Clubs, and other experiential learning initiatives
• Explore potential collaborations with corporate partners for student engagement

2. Course Management

MBA Consulting Project

• Manage the MBA Consulting Project lifecycle from sourcing to completion
• Define project scope with project sponsors, deliverables, and expectations with companies
• Oversee student applications, team assignments, project supervision, and milestone tracking
• Facilitate briefings and align expectations among companies, supervisors, and student teams
• Monitor project progress, address challenges, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes

Other MBA Experiential Learning Course Management

• Manage end-to-end experiential learning course management that include courses planning and offerings, student’s enrolment and grading
• Liaise with teaching faculty on teaching requirements and planning
• Liaise with cross-faculty on course(s) offerings

3. Inter-School & Faculty Collaborations

• Manage and maintain relationships with cross-faculty collaborations on course offerings
• Identify potential partnership opportunities within the NUS ecosystem

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Performance Monitoring

• Serve as primary contact for student and corporate partner queries
• Support student performance and learning outcomes through guidance and feedback
• Measure project impact and stakeholder satisfaction; identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements

Additional scope for the Assistant Senior Manager grade: The incumbent will take on strategic leadership in continuously reviewing, designing, and expanding experiential learning opportunities and initiatives that enhance the MBA student learning experience, and will contribute to longer-term programme strategy and team succession planning.

Others

• Continuously explore possible process improvement, automation initiatives, and other functional areas as needed
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and initiatives assigned by the Head of Experiential Learning
• Provide support to the team in other functions when needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in outreach, business development, stakeholder engagement, or a related field; candidates for the Assistant Senior Manager grade should have at least 8 years’ relevant experience, including some experience in programme design or team leadership
• Strong track record in corporate engagement and relationship management
• Experience in education, training needs analysis, or experiential learning is preferred
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams
• Confident engaging with senior executives, faculty, and a diverse student body
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• A proactive self-starter who is resourceful, adaptable, and a fast learner in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Familiar with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and educational IT systems

What you will do

• Identify, win, and grow corporate and public sector accounts for customised executive programmes across target markets in Asia Pacific and beyond.
• Build and sustain relationships at multiple levels of an organisation — from C-suite sponsors to L&D and HR decision-makers — turning first conversations into long-term partnerships.
• Consult with senior leaders on their business challenges and work closely with NUS faculty to co-create programmes that deliver real organisational impact.
• Craft compelling, well-researched proposals and presentations that draw on NUS thought leadership and faculty expertise.
• Partner with NUS Programme Directors to oversee programmes from design through delivery and debrief, ensuring the rigour of the design carries through to delivery.
• Stay close to industry and L&D trends, acting as a trusted advisor rather than a vendor.

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree and 6–10 years of experience in business development, key account management, or client-facing consulting, ideally with exposure to the Asia Pacific region.
• A track record of winning and growing strategic accounts — whether in executive education, leadership development, management consulting, or another professional services environment.
• Genuine business acumen: you can hold a credible conversation with a CFO or CHRO about their organisation's strategic priorities, not just propose a programme.
• Strong relationship-management instincts — trust built through being knowledgeable and communicating consistently.
• Comfort and confidence working across cultures and seniority levels, including in markets outside Singapore.
• A mature, collaborative approach to problem-solving — sound judgement under pressure, and the ability to work constructively with colleagues and clients to resolve issues.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the Asia Pacific region and globally.
