RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review assigned case recordings monthly.

Job Requirements

• Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related professional accounting qualification.

THE ROLE:

DFT engineer will lead strong engineering team on Scan, MBIST, iJTAG test development of latest AMD products. The IPs range from complex processors, AI computation blocks, to state-of-the-art controller IPs which provide automotive, data center, machine learning and high-speed communication solutions. You will work closely with designers to make sure DFT structures are correctly implemented, with test engineers to make sure ATE test programs can be generated from the DFT (ATPG, MBIST) tools, with product engineers to make sure scan/MBIST production test can run seamlessly and stable, and with yield engineers to debug and root-cause failures/defects. You will get the opportunity to expand technical knowledge beyond DFT into embedded processor firmware, complex chip simulation, RTL implementation for ASIC & FPGA and deep silicon debug works all the way to high-volume production requirement. • Maintain an awareness of advances in technology or innovations to facilitate improvement in effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain practices.

Specifics

• Work with requestors/users to establish scope of works/services, and/or product specifications, to facilitate the process of soliciting quotations, request for price proposals, competitive bidding, as per Procurement procedures.
• Establish baseline prices, price evaluation, negotiations of prices and commercial terms and conditions based on the total cost of ownership consideration; within established limits of authority, in the Company's best interest.
• Provide routine purchasing support to functional stakeholders for the purchase of (but not limited to) goods, services, capital equipment and machinery, machining or special process services.
• Insure timely processing of purchase requisitions, order releases, and/or confirmation of purchase and/or service agreements.
• Delivery assurance and follow-up to insure goods are delivered, and/or services are completed in accordance with committed fulfillment dates.
• Coordinate the resolution of non-conforming goods, and/or services, and delivery recovery planning.
• Perform periodic vendor visits (where necessary) to assess adequacy of vendors' operations, capabilities and capacity to support the Company's requirements.
• Work in cross functional teams in work transfer assessment, vendor qualification and selection for operations offload of machining or special processes.
• Facilitates the disposal of company properties and/or scrap material as per disposal procedures.
• Facilitates internal and external audits.

Vendor Account

• Perform vendor screening as per global trade policy; prior to any engagements with any vendor or adding the vendor to the vendor master file.
• Vendor account creation, vendor account amendments, and vendor credit terms application.
• Identify inactive vendor accounts, and/or opportunities for consolidation of services or product purchases; to reduce the vendor base.
• Work with related functional stakeholders (requestors, Logistics and Accounts Payables) in the disposition and resolution of payables to vendors / suppliers.

Innovations

• Apply and utilize CORE (continuous improvement) tools in facilitating and supporting organizational innovations. Identify opportunities in process improvements and reduce non-value-add activities or processes on a continuing basis.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities in cost reduction activities and initiatives, either within the purchasing group or working with functional stakeholders or vendors.

Reports and Documentation

• Publish standard reports as may be established and assigned from time-to-time to the intranet dashboards, preparing and submitting reports for management reporting; not limiting to vendor performance metrics, and commodity program metrics.
• Ensure proper retention and document archive (manual or electronic), including but not limited to purchase orders, vendor quotations, order acknowledgements, correspondence, or documents to be retained as required of related functional procedures; and/or for the purpose of reference, evidence, audit and compliance requirements.

Vendor Accreditation

• Facilitate EH&S training for vendors, maintaining and updating the Accredited vendor list, database of records and licenses as required of accredited vendors.

Purpose of Position

All aspects of Sea Freight Pricing, Development and Procurement including and not limited to day-to-day procurement support, system support on costing, GP analysis and GP improvement.

Key Task

Pricing and Procurement

• Maintenance of cost on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis and share with relevant operational stakeholders

• Setting up and maintenance of MSR to share with relevant stakeholders

• Key Client monthly rate support

• Handle rate enquiries from network and Commercial team

• Vendors credit term / limit maintenance

• Assist operations / billing team on pricing related concern

• Support RFQ for both FCL / LCL

Development

• Relationship management with transporters, co-loaders and vendors

• Work closely with Regional LCL Product team, Gateway team and network offices to monitor utilization, improve the LCL Pricing and Product and propose promotional initiatives

• Seeking opportunities to improve GP on day-to-day tasks through negotiation of costs

• Working with internal stakeholders to secure more market share

Vendor management

• Maintain and implement transporter allocation strategy

• Support the on boarding of new vendors and yearly vendor evaluation process

• Monitor vendor’s performance on the KPIs assigned

• Gather feedback from relevant stakeholders on vendor performance and address challenges faced

• Join and support regular business review meetings with vendors

GP Analysis

• GP improvement through GP analysis on freight products based on customer and port pairs

• Act on loss customers and solutions for turning around

• Profit share development from Partner country and account consistency

• Perform Audit in Profit share

• Perform Audit in Profitable vendor choices

Reporting

·       Analyze GP/Vendor Trend for manager’s insight

Profit Share analysis report

Experience & Education

• Work with Hiring Divisions on meeting manpower needs
• Develop, execute and evaluate attraction and recruitment strategies
• Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing and selection
• Administer and seek to enhance a seamless onboarding process, providing new employees with essential information and resources
• Prepare Appointment Letters and other HR-related documents with accuracy and confidentiality
• Liaise with internal & external parties for recruitment related activities
• Plan and participate in recruitment efforts for e.g., Career Fairs, Walk-in Interviews and Virtual Interviews

Job Holder Requirements:

• Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor Degree
• Experience: Preferably with 2 years of HR related experience or equivalent
