RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in setting up test rigs, fixtures, and instrumentation for mechanical & Environmental testing.
- Perform tests in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Monitor and document test conditions and results accurately.
- Collect and record test data using appropriate tools and software.
- Analyze test results to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed test reports and documentation.
- Work closely with design, quality, and production teams to ensure test requirements are met.
- Provide feedback to engineering teams based on test findings.
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts related to test failures.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Report and address any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with company standards, industry regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2 year of experience in mechanical testing or a similar role
- Experience in troubleshooting and general tool usage
- Able to read and interpret 2D, 3D mechanical drawings, BOM and/or Build Matrix
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal and plastic parts design and associated production tooling and quality processes
- Understanding and use of engineering tools such as, statistical engineering techniques, design of experiments, product and process capability analysis
