Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Experience handling full sets of accounts is required.
• Prior experience in administration and HR support will be an advantage.
• Experience in trading, distribution, electronics, semiconductor, manufacturing or regional business environments will be preferred.
• Experience working with overseas headquarters, China-based teams or cross-border transactions will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of full-set accounting, financial reporting, GST, corporate tax support and audit preparation.
• Able to prepare financial reports, management reports, sales margin reports and business analysis independently.
• Strong understanding of cost, pricing, gross margin, revenue tracking, customer collections and working capital management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for reporting, analysis, reconciliation and dashboard preparation.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems. SAP Business One experience will be an added advantage.
• Good documentation skills with the ability to maintain organized and accurate financial, HR and administrative records.
• Able to interpret financial data and present key findings clearly to management.

Language Skills

• Proficient in both English and Chinese to support communication with management, headquarters, internal stakeholders and external parties.
• Able to prepare reports, emails, summaries and business documents professionally in both English and Chinese.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with Purchase to Pay stakeholders.

• This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of accounting principles. 

• The successful candidate will be supported by a third-party Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany & Treasury operations team and will also be in regular contact with the Global Purchase to Pay team on strategic initiatives and ongoing policy update and compliance.

• Support the evaluation and execution of mergers, acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures, and other strategic initiatives
• Conduct industry, market, and competitor research to identify potential opportunities and strategic trends
• Assist in financial analysis, valuation, and business case development, including financial modeling and scenario analysis
• Support preparation of investment materials, and internal approval papers for senior management and Board discussions
• Coordinate and support due diligence activities across financial, commercial, legal, tax, operational, and technical workstreams
• Assist in managing external advisors including investment banks, consultants, legal counsel, and accounting firms
• Support transaction execution activities including data room management, tracking of action items, and coordination across internal stakeholders
• Support post-transaction integration and synergy tracking where applicable

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or Engineering
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, transaction services, or corporate strategy preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good financial and commercial acumen
• Familiarity with financial modelling and valuation methodologies
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver under tight timelines
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in energy, infrastructure, offshore/marine, industrials, or related sectors is an advantage
