Under the direction of the Manager, the incumbent’s responsibilities and description include the following:

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for a portfolio of clients and special assignments

• Timely and accurate input of clients’ accounts payable and accounts receivable

• To prepare clients’ full set of accounts, month end closing, quarterly GST returns and any other ad-hoc assignments

• Corporate tax computation, filing and return

• Prepare compilation of unaudited financial statements for various industries in accordance with SFRS/IFRS

• Ensure firms’ service standard and clients’ reporting deadline are met

• Share knowledge and expertise with team members

Assist in any other assignment or special projects as required

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting

• Prior experience in bookkeeping, accounting or equivalent experience is a must

• Min 2 years of relevant experience

• Candidates without prior relevant experience may apply for assistant position

• Positive work attitude and meticulous

• Proactive, committed and able to work under pressure

• Possess initiative and ability to work independently

• Good team player and able to communicate well in English and Chinese (to handle Chinese speaking clients, and to read documents in Chinese)

• Familiar with Xero, QuickBooks, UBS Accounting software, CCH ProSystem FX Engagement and Microsoft application will be an added advantage

• Complete day-to-day operations of multiple funds, such as process investor subscriptions and redemptions efficiently, manage account openings and exchange membership applications, and ensure timely bill payments and documentation maintenance
• Review Net Asset Value (NAV) reports from fund administrators and support annual funds audits and declarations
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including brokers, fund administrators, and service providers and serve as a primary point of contact for external queries and internal stakeholders
