About the Job:

The Social Worker in the foster care team supports children who are placed in alternative out-of-home arrangements (foster care, kinship care or nanny care).

We are looking for 2 social workers focusing on different areas: (1) foster care and nanny care, (2) kinship care and supervised contact between the child with natural family. Applicants are welcome to specify the areas that they would like to apply for, or indicate if they are open to either area.

The role involves providing comprehensive case management,delivering trauma-informed interventions, and engaging in systemic work with caregivers and relevant stakeholders to ensure that children’s safety,well-being, and care needs are met. This position is suited to a committed and passionate individual who is motivated to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.

Job Scope:

• Handle casework and counselling/ intervention
• Conduct regular home visits and sessions to ensure that the placement is able to safeguard and promote the child’s safety, stability and well-being
• Supervise access to ensure a safe contact between the child and the natural family

• Strengthen bonds between parents/caregivers and children, and coach parents/caregivers to apply positive child management and parenting strategies during supervised access
• Assess the suitability of new foster parents/caregivers
• Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders and external agencies to coordinate resources and services, meet clients’ needs, and monitor progress of the case plan

• Plan and conduct group work or programmes for the children/ caregivers/ families
• Provide support to the team in planning and execution of outreach events aimed at recruiting new foster parents and volunteers

Requirements:

• Experience in working with families, managing parenting issues and handling complex child welfare cases
• Trauma-informed and knowledge of attachment issues will be an advantage
• Good report writing skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in vernacular languages is preferred as you will be meeting clients from different races
• Able to plan your tasks independently and open to learning
• Responsible, resilient, flexible, self-motivated, and a team player
• Able to work on weekends and evenings, when required (Time-off will be given)

Qualifications:

• Degree or graduate diploma in social work or equivalent
• At least 2 years of work experience with family and children, or at least 4 years of work experience in the social service sector.

The Recruitment Officer will play a vital role in raising public awareness about fostering and supporting the recruitment and assessment of foster parents. This position is suited to a committed and passionateindividual who is motivated to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.

Job Scope

• Plan, coordinate, and execute outreach events to recruit new foster parents
• Identify appropriate outreach channels and opportunities for collaboration with partners who can aid the Fostering Agency in its outreach efforts
• Create and design content to raise public awareness about fostering
• Manage public enquiries about the Fostering Scheme and conduct assessments of foster parent candidates
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Recruitment Officer and other staff in the fostering agency team

Requirements

• Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Proficiency in social media management and design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Some experience in project and event management will be beneficial
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work on weekends and evenings when required (Time-off will be given)

• Minimum Diploma, with preferably a minimum 2 years of experience in the social service sector

Role Summary

This role leads the development and execution of Epworth Community Services’ Brand, Marketing, and Communications initiatives to strengthen awareness, engagement, and impact. It drives the creation of content, messaging, campaigns, and media pitches that reflect Epworth’s mission, values, and programmes.

This hands-on role will be looking into the production of high-quality brand, marketing and communications content to ensure clear, accurate messaging across multiple platforms. The role translates organisational priorities into compelling storytelling, marketing materials, and media-ready content that supports Epworth’s programmes, fundraising efforts, and reputation.

Working closely with internal teams, including Community Relations (Volunteer Management and Fundraising) and programme teams, as well as partners and vendors, the role delivers integrated campaigns, fundraising initiatives, community events, and media outreach.

Through effective branding strategies, compelling writing, media pitching, visual storytelling, and content creation, the role develops impactful narratives that inspire donors, volunteers, partners, and the public to support Epworth’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Awareness & Identity

• Manage and strengthen Epworth’s brand identity, ensuring all communications reflect the organisation’s mission, values, and programmes.

• Plan and execute campaigns that support programmes, fundraising initiatives, and community engagement, amplifying the organisation’s impact.

• Produce video and audio content to tell compelling stories of Epworth’s work, beneficiaries, and community initiatives.

• Develop collaterals and visual designs across print and digital platforms to communicate programme impact and engage stakeholders.

• Maintain website content and UX to provide clear, accessible, and engaging information for donors, volunteers, partners, and the public.

• Develop pitches and materials that reflect Epworth’s brand and mission.

2. Media & Communications

• Manage and grow Epworth’s social media platforms through content planning, storytelling, and engagement strategies.

• Develop internal communications for staff and external communications for donors, volunteers, and partners.

• Coordinate media outreach and engagement, including liaising with media partners.

• Assist with crisis communications as required.

• Coordinate production of quarterly newsletters, impact reports, and annual reports.

• Ensure consistency in tone of voice and messaging across all communication channels.

• Support development and adherence to media and social media policies.

• Monitor performance of campaigns, events, and communications, providing insights and reporting to inform improvements.

3. Project, Stakeholder & Event Management

In collaboration with the rest of the Community Relations, Communications and Fundraising team, this role plans and executes integrated campaigns, fundraising initiatives, community events, employee programmes, and organisation-wide projects—coordinating timelines, vendors, partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effectively delivery aligned to Epworth’s priorities.

Requirements

• Degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field.

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in marketing, branding, or communications.

• Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and messaging skills.

• Experience in video production, visual design, and managing digital platforms.

• Ability to conceptualise creative ideas and translate them into actionable plans for execution.

• Experience managing social media and marketing campaigns.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.

• Strong organisational and project management skills.

• Experience in the social service or non-profit sector is advantageous.

• Self-starter, able to work outside office hours on occasion.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as a team player.
