We are on the lookout for a Procurement Operations Analyst to join the Global Procurement team at foodpanda, based in our Malaysia office, on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.  

The Procurement Operations Analyst is an entry-level role focused on supporting the transactional aspects of procurement operations, providing direct support for incident and problem management, and addressing inquiries through the customer help desk. This role is essential for maintaining smooth, efficient operations within the procurement team and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction through prompt issue resolution and clear communication.

1. Transactional Processing

   • Monitor the purchase requisitions and purchase order creation following defined policies and procedures.

   • Ensure accuracy and timeliness, supporting compliance with corporate guidelines and service level agreements (SLAs).

2. Incident and Problem Management

   • Handle procurement-related incidents, performing initial triage and troubleshooting to resolve issues where possible.

   • Assist in root cause analysis, helping to prevent recurrence and drive improvements.

3. Customer Help Desk

   • Serve as a primary contact point for internal inquiries related to procurement transactions and processes.

4. Continuous Improvement

   • Identify and suggest areas for process enhancement within transactional procurement and customer support.

As a key member of our regional shops team, you will drive operational improvements across our three brands: foodpanda, foodora, and yemeksepeti. We are expanding into new verticals, and you will own the operational foundations of in-store fulfillment, focusing on picker efficiency, operational tooling, and field training.

In this regional role, you will be the bridge between high-level strategy and local execution across 15 countries. Your focus is to build scalable operational playbooks that drive continuous improvements to reduce items not delivered (IND) and ensure high fulfillment accuracy, enabling store teams to consistently deliver complete and reliable orders.

In this role, you will:

• Define the operational framework to minimize Items Not Delivered (IND) and manage out-of-stock scenarios across all Grocery and Retail partners.
• Lead Field Training & Knowledge Sharing, creating scalable training programs and playbooks that ensure local market teams and pickers follow best-in-class operational standards.
• Monitor and improve Vendor Performance, creating benchmarks for picking accuracy, speed, and reliability across our regional footprint.
• Develop supporting tools and processes that empower local market teams to identify operational bottlenecks and accelerate performance improvements.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with Local Teams, Product, and Analytics to improve our Shops offering holistically.
