A DAY IN A LIFE

Security & Governance

• Drive cybersecurity posture across the organisation including access control, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management
• Coordinate with internal audit and external assessors for compliance reviews and VAPT exercises
• Define and execute the ICT roadmap aligned to business goals
• Establish ICT policies, standards, and governance frameworks
• Own ICT budgeting, procurement, and cost optimisation
• Lead technology risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance (PDPA, ISO 27001, etc.)

Infrastructure & Operations

• Oversee end-to-end IT infrastructure: networks, servers, cloud, telephony, and endpoints
• Ensure high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness
• Manage SLAs for internal systems uptime and incident response

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Own relationships with ICT vendors, MSPs, and service providers
• Review and negotiate ICT contracts, MSAs, and SOWs
• Collaborate with business units to translate operational needs into ICT solutions

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and grow an ICT team across support, infrastructure, and systems functions
• Set KPIs and drive a culture of continuous improvement

REQUIREMENTS

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:

• Dual-Domain Expertise (ICT + Tech Risk): 5+ years of hands-on experience managing IT Infrastructure/Operations, combined with 2+ years of direct responsibility over First Line of Defence (LOD1), IT Governance, or RCSA frameworks in a highly regulated environment.
• Technical Compliance Fluency: Proven experience implementing and auditing technical controls against global industry frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, or ITIL) across modern cloud-heavy (AWS/Azure) environments.
• High-Pressure Execution & Stakeholder Management: A track record of staying calm and decisive during critical system outages, paired with the communication skills needed to confidently manage audit pushback and influence engineering teams to adopt "secure-by-design" practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or high-growth tech companies
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL, or cloud certifications (GCP/AWS/Azure)
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (Jira, ServiceNow, or equivalent)

• Assist in the clinic’s day to day operations and functions.
• Assist the Medical Director in the assigned clinic.
• Responsible for all aspects of customer service including but not limited to cashiering, appointment booking, and answering customer enquiries.
• Responsible for all matters pertaining to insurance, Medisave, and Letter of Guarantee(s).

Job Duties:

• Support group companies in Southeast Asia and India, especially in the areas of business management, business planning and strategic activities.
• Governance and monitoring against the business performance of the group companies: including but not limited to Sales, Profit/Embedded Value, Solvency position, Agency performance and key GCs initiatives’ progress (monthly / quarterly / annually).
• Review GCs’ Ad Hoc Strategic Project that requires shareholder’s funds or capital. Examples of projects includes but not limited to: M&A, new distribution channels, new product lines, new reinsurance arrangements, new investment initiatives and updates in IT core system change.
• Support the attendees of Board of Directors meeting held at the group companies.
• Conduct the roles as shareholders of the group companies, for example important decision making, communications with regulators, discussions with joint venture partners.
• Report to the parent company located in Tokyo: including but not limited to tabling important GC topics to Management Committee at TMHD cooperating with the counterparty in Headquarter.
• Business Expansion planning in India, including market research and M&A activities.
• Attend multiple internal committees
• Overseas’ business travels are required

Requirements:

• University Degree with professional insurance qualifications
• 5 years of experience in insurance industry
• Knowledge of Business Development and/or Underwriting and/or Finance and/or Accounting
• Excellent communication skills, with counterparties both internal and external
• Analytical with good report writing, presentation and communication skills in English and Japanese
• Proficiency in Japanese language is required to liaise with Japan HQ and to read Japanese reports/documents
