• Develop and execute operational roadmaps, including short-term tactical planning and long-term strategic initiatives focused on scalability, automation, and business growth.
• Drive organizational development and workforce planning, ensuring strong leadership pipelines, succession planning, and high-performing operational teams.
• Partner with key stakeholders to execute business strategies, lead commercial discussions, support contract renewals, and manage strategic customer relationships.
• Take ownership of the overall P&L performance for major business portfolios, driving profitability, cost optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Evaluate and propose CAPEX investments, including warehouse automation, material handling equipment (MHE), and facility enhancement projects through strong ROI analysis and business case development.
• Oversee workplace safety, operational risk management, and business continuity planning (BCP) to ensure compliance and operational resilience.
• Lead large-scale Continuous Improvement and transformation initiatives in collaboration with Engineering, IT, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements:             

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA or postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience within contract logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations environments.
• Proven experience managing managers and leading large-scale, multi-site, or highly complex logistics operations.
• Strong P&L management experience with the ability to drive operational performance and business growth.
• Demonstrated exposure to automation, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and strategic planning capabilities.

About the Role

Leading A1 Main Contractor in Singapore, is appoint a Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a high-profile development project. The project comprises a landmark building with basement works, landscaping, and integration with transport and park infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily site operations for a large-scale, building project involving structural works, architectural finishes, and integrated landscaping.
• Supervise subcontractors, site staff, and workers to ensure works are executed according to schedule, budget, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, and client representatives to resolve site issues and design queries promptly.
• Oversee basement excavation, structural construction, M&E coordination, and finishing works.
• Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies across all site activities.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Prepare and present site reports, progress updates, and incident documentation.
• Support Project Manager in variation orders, claims, and contractual matters.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of site management experience in building projects (public, institutional, or mixed-use developments).
• Experience working with an A1 Main Contractor or equivalent tier is highly preferred.
