Job Title: Research Technician/Assistant (Sputtering Systems)

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on and reliable research technician to operate and manage our sputtering system, support day-to-day experimental work, and ensure smooth lab operations. This role is critical in enabling consistent thin film deposition for internal R&D and external projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate and manage a sputtering system (e.g. AJA International sputtering system) independently
• Perform thin film deposition for various projects and customer requirements
• Execute day-to-day experiments following defined process parameters and protocols
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and process deviations
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs, including vacuum systems (pumps, leak checks, seals), gas lines and plumbing and electrical connections and wiring
• Support process optimization and data collection
• Maintain proper documentation of experiments, parameters, and results
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and adherence to lab safety protocols

Requirements• Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Materials Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
• Prior experience operating sputtering or vacuum deposition systems is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with vacuum systems, gas handling, and thin film processes
• Hands-on experience with basic troubleshooting and maintenance
• Comfortable working with electrical systems, plumbing / gas lines, mechanical components
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of equipment and processes

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)• Experience with sputtering systems or similar PVD tools
• Background in thin film characterization or materials processing
• Experience in a research lab or cleanroom environment

We are a landscaping and horticulture firm looking for a hands-on Landscape Technician to join our team. You will carry out maintenance, planting, and horticultural works across a variety of sites in Singapore. This is an outdoor role that involves physical work in varying weather conditions, including weekend rotations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance such as mowing, pruning, trimming, and weeding
• Plant, transplant, and care for trees, shrubs, turf, and ornamental plants
• Apply fertilisers, pesticides, and soil treatments in accordance with safety guidelines
• Inspect plants for signs of disease or pest infestation and take corrective action
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment
• Follow project schedules and site-specific requirements
• Comply with WSH regulations and safe work procedures at all times

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC in Horticulture or related qualification from a recognised local institution
• 1 to 3 years of relevant landscaping or horticultural work experience
• Able to work outdoors and perform physical tasks in all weather conditions
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays on a rostered basis
• Team player with a responsible and positive attitude

Job Description

• Repair of Customer Returns
• Act as the primary coordinator for customer return parts, including repair, evaluation, and disposition.
• Receive, log, and track returned parts from customers for repair service or investigation.
• Coordinate with internal teams (QA, Engineering, Production, Repair Service) to ensure timely repair, rework, or analysis.
• Communicate repair scope, lead time, and status updates to customers clearly and professionally.
• Ensure parts repair in our factory or customer site meet quality requirements.
• Work with the manufacturing team and get hands on training so as in order to repair returns or on-site.
• Coordinate and support rework activities for customer returned parts in accordance with approved instructions.
• Ensure rework is performed only after proper review and authorization.
• Verify that reworked parts comply with applicable workmanship, quality, and customer specifications.
• Arrange final inspection, documentation, and release prior to shipment back to customer.

• No experience required as training will be provided
