Job Description
A Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, systems, or machinery. They ensure everything operates efficiently and safely, often working in industries like manufacturing, IT, telecommunications, healthcare, or facilities maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test equipment or systems
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency repairs
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, or other teams
- Order or manage spare parts and tools when needed
- Diagnose faults in smartphones (hardware and software issues)
- Repair or replace components such as screens, batteries, cameras, and charging ports
- Perform software troubleshooting, updates, and resets (e.g., Android and iOS devices)
Education & Experience
- Experience with mobile device repair (5+ years) to ensure skilled and efficient service delivery
- Bachelor degree in computer science or technical certification in a relevant field
