Job Responsibilities

 1.     To ensure printing quality are meet expectation.

2.     To ensure the machine are functioning properly, to minimize the machine down time and to increase the machine revenue.

3.     To ensure printing operation are run smoothly.

4.     To ensure setting on substrate are correctly.

5.     To ensure Rubber Roller, Anilox Roller & Doctor Blade are in good condition before upload to press.

6.     To ensure color, size & alignment are matching with artwork.

7.     Assist Machine Leader to troubleshoot & verify issue by using Print Care Diagnostics Mode

8.     Assist Machine Leader to perform First Transfer & Color Calibration.

9.     Assist Machine Leader to perform Tester Pen on corona treatment to ensure the treatment are meet requirement.

10. Assist Machine Leader to perform Indicator on primer treatment to ensure the treatment are meet requirement.

11. Assist Machine Leader to perform Maintenance Work.

12. Assist Machine Leader to report the major repairing outstanding issues to Superior.

Requirement

 1.  Minimum SPM level & experience 2 years in digital printing or offset printing industry will be an added advantage.

2.  Ability to work long hours and shift work.

3.  Possess good communication and people skills.

4.  Proficient with Microsoft office package such as Word, Excel and Power Point.

5.  Proficient in computerizing skill and email communication skill (In English).

6.  Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.

7.  Self-starter, versatile and able to work cross-functionally.

8.  Knowledge of ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 and 5S management system is an added advantage.

(A)  RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Plan, organise and oversee the daily production operations to ensure production schedule is met, with optimum utilisation of manpower, machines and materials.
2. Monitor production output, downtime, rejects, rework, and ensure quality standards are met.
3. Coordinate with Production Planning, Maintenance, Quality Assurance and other functions to ensure smooth workflow and prompt resolution of issues (equipment breakdowns, material shortages, process deviations).
4. Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns and schedule preventive maintenance.
5. Ensure proper use and storage of raw materials and finished goods.
6. Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity, material yield, process efficiency, 6S/housekeeping and cost reduction.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies, occupational health & safety, hygiene and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, FSSC 22000, GMP) as applicable.
8. Prepare timely production reports / performance metrics and present analysis and action plans to management.
9. Supervise, train and develop production team members (line supervisors, operators) to ensure skills, performance and discipline standards are maintained.
10. Support production planning function – liaise with planning team, review work orders, monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and assist in ensuring resources are available.

(B)  ACADEMY REQUIREMENT

1. Candidates with Diploma/Degrees in any Engineering field are welcome to apply or with 5 years’ experience in related position in the same field.

(C)  EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIREMENT

1. Minimum 5 years’ working experience in manufacturing industry
2. Experience in troubleshooting manufacturing processes related problems.
3. Good analytical skill and troubleshooting breakdowns.
4. Field experience in packaging industry will be added advantage.
5. Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, GMP and 6S management system is an added advantage.
6. Self-starter, versatile and able to work cross-functionally.
7. Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
8. Highly independent and willing to put extra hours to meet project deadlines.
9. Required Language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
