We are an established and fast growing consulting firm providing civil, structural and geotechnical services to private clients, corporate clients and governmental agencies in Petaling Jaya invites suitably qualified Malaysian to be considered for the following positions:
Drafter– C&S
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least SPM, Certificate / Diploma from technical institution
- At least 3–5 years of consultancy experience in civil and structural works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage. Experience with Civil 3D, GstarCAD, Microsoft Office, and related architectural/engineering software is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of structural detailing, effective design coordination, and navigating approval processes.
- Possess a strong work ethic, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to work under multiple projects deadlines with minimum supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developed comprehensive civil and structural design drawings based on approved engineering calculations, applicable standards, and project specifications.
- Collaborate closely with structural engineers, architects, and MEP consultants to maintain design consistency and ensure fully coordinated, clash-free drawings.
- Collaborated with engineers to interpret complex design specifications and produce precise technical drawings.
- Prepared detailed civil and structural engineering drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain accurate drawing registers, manage revisions, and ensure compliance with document control procedures.
- Participate in internal project meetings to review design progress and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Support the engineering team in developing project deliverables, ensuring all drawings comply with applicable standards and regulations.
- Demonstrates strong time management and task completion.
