Get to Know the Role
As an important member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications that drive our success.
At GTS, we're focused on transforming the technology experience for every Grabber by building seamless, practical, and innovative solutions that improve how people work every day. Within Commercial Systems, that means ensuring high-impact business platforms and experiences that support Grab's commercial teams at scale.
This is an onsite role, that will be based in Petaling Jaya, and will report to the Head of Commercial Systems.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will architect and implement scalable, efficient, and maintainable full-stack solutions using modern technologies and best practices
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software products
- You will develop and optimize both frontend and backend components of our applications
- You will implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications
- You will participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- You will troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the stack
- You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies
- You will stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our tech stack
- You will ensure application performance, security, and scalability through proper design and implementation practices
