Fire Protection Supervisor

• 5.5 Days || 8.30am - 5.30pm (Mon - Fri); 8.30am - 12.30pm (Sat)

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering,
• Building Services, Fire Safety Engineering, or related discipline.
• Relevant trade certificates, safety certificates, or fire protection system training will be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant site supervision experience in fire protection services for building construction projects.
• Must have direct site supervision experience in the construction industry, preferably in M&E contracting.
• Experience in fire protection services installation, including sprinkler system, hosereel system, wet/dry riser system, fire pump room works, clean agent system, fire extinguishers, and related pipework installations.
• Familiar with Singapore Fire Code, SCDF requirements, approved shop drawings, method statements, inspection and testing procedures.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, CSD drawings, schematic diagrams, specifications, and coordination drawings.
• Good understanding of fire protection installation sequence, material control, quality checks, testing and commissioning requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily fire protection installation works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Plan and monitor site activities to ensure timely completion in line with the project schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades to resolve site clashes, access constraints, and installation issues.
• Inspect and verify installation works, including piping systems, supports, valves, sprinkler systems, hose reels, risers, fire pumps, and associated equipment.
• Ensure approved materials are properly delivered, stored, and installed.
• Assist in material requisition, quantity verification, site measurements, and progress tracking.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, progress, safety compliance, and housekeeping.
• Prepare site reports, including progress updates, manpower records, and inspection status.
• Arrange and attend inspections with consultants, RTOs, main contractors, and relevant authorities.
• Support testing and commissioning activities, including pressure testing, flushing, flow testing, pump testing, and system readiness checks.
• Follow up on inspection comments, defects, punch list items, and non-conformances until closure.
• Assist in verifying subcontractor progress claims based on actual site progress.
• Report site issues, delays, variations, and coordination matter promptly to the Project Manager / Engineer.
• Maintain proper records of inspections, testing, progress, deliveries, and project documentation.
• Support handover, as-built verification, defect rectification, and project close out activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager / Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position is for Office of Postgraduate Professional Programmes (OPGPP).
• Branding and Digital Marketing
  • Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns in partnership with the Office of Corporate Communications and Marketing (OCCM), spanning web, social media, email, and print collaterals.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all postgraduate programmes, including marketing collateral, product messaging, and user experience, in alignment with corporate brand guidelines.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing actionable insights on digital reach, engagement, and ROI.
• Outreach and Events
  • Support the planning and execution of recruitment fairs, open houses, partner university sessions, coffee sessions and corporate outreach events.
  • Coordinate with faculty speakers and Schools to ensure strong, coherent representation of each programme.
  • Evaluate event outcomes and ROI, and incorporate feedback to strengthen future outreach activities.
• Market and Channel Specialisations
  • Provide support to designated geographic market (e.g., China, India/South Asia, ASEAN, Rest of World) and a programme cluster (e.g., Finance/Accounting, Analytics/Computing, Innovation/Management, niche programmes).
  • Support the development and execution of region-specific outreach strategies that address local market needs and trends.
  • Ensure that programme messaging is accurate, compelling, and aligned with market expectations.
  • Collaborate with Schools to refine content and uphold programme credibility across marketing channels.
• Cross Functional Work
  • Integrate regional insights into overall marketing and recruitment strategies.
  • Partner with Academic Directors and relevant stakeholders to ensure programme visibility and differentiation are maintained.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment between marketing, admissions, and programme objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline is required with at least 3 years of experience in marketing, recruitment, or business development, preferably in higher education, professional services, or a related industry.
• Proven track record in student recruitment, lead generation, and conversion management for postgraduate or executive education markets is an asset.
• Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics, campaign performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and digital platforms.
  • Knowledge of international education markets (e.g., China, India/South Asia, ASEAN) and sensitivity to cross-cultural communication is an asset.
• Skills:
