• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with a recognised professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA)
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in full-set accounting
• Comfortable working in a very independent and hands-on role
• Experience handling multiple entities or group structures will be an advantage
• Exposure to trading, project-based businesses, construction, or renewable energy will be a plus
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Good communication skills and able to work with overseas stakeholders

About the role

The Credit team at Revolut creates and scales lending features that power global growth. They manage the entire product lifecycle, from backend systems to customer-facing experiences. By combining market insight, risk expertise, and technical precision, they deliver safe, forward-thinking solutions tailored to each region.

We're looking for a Credit Manager to design credit risk policies, procedures, and strategies for our retail lending features. You'll be managing validation of the underwriting strategy, as well as leading the charge for preventative and reactive actions to the market and product offering.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing account-level valuation and credit underwriting policies using NPV frameworks to improve portfolio-level economic returns
• Making data-driven decisions with a special focus on marginal decision-making
• Managing credit limits, risk-based pricing, retention strategies, over-limit policies, etc.
• Adjusting risk return requirements and managing/adjusting portfolio returns as new data comes to light
• Supporting the annual budget, forecast, and planning processes, from concept to delivery
• Tracking, communicating, and drawing insights from performance of ongoing initiatives, while staying on top of credit KPIs through intensive monitoring
• Identifying operational inefficiencies and managing the implementation of small-scale change within the Credit department
• Ensuring approval and good rating of first-line credit risk function from second line, third line, and regulators

What you'll need

• Experience managing the risk cycle for retail credit products, like credit cards, unsecured personal loans, etc.
• A bachelor's degree from a top university in an quantitative/analytical field, such as engineering, statistics, physics, maths, economics, or management
• A solid understanding of credit policy governance frameworks to work through 2nd/3rd line of defence in a competent manner
• A track record of delivering excellent results that exceed requirements
• To be forward-thinking to plan appropriately, meet multiple objectives, and proactively identify/resolve issues
• Knowledge of credit and behavioural scoring models, especially for retail credit products
• The ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, simple manner
• To understand the value of speed to market and balance between elegant problem-solving and business needs

Nice to have

• A master's degree
• Excellent working knowledge of SQL, R, Python, and/or other data analysis tools
• A willingness to learn new technology to help the business scale

Overview of the role

You will be accountable for management reporting and financial analysis for a regional portfolio. You will provide explanation of variances and key performance drivers, coordinate the consolidation of results across our region for reporting purposes and monthly and quarterly business review presentations. You will participate in forecasting processes, and support in planning and implementing new business initiatives. You will craft and provide insightful analysis to support business unit leaders in identifying commercial and financial improvement opportunities.

This role reports to the Finance Director and works closely with the Sales/ Marketing/ Supply Chain leader on budgeting and financial planning.

· Ability to integrate the brand strategy, pricing, consumer positioning and profitability to recommend solutions to identify and deliver business growth opportunities.

· Providing mentorship to junior finance members in the group and guide them in the finance leadership track

Responsibilities of the role

· Lead in monthly regional financial forecast, actual proofing, and accruals in a high sophisticated accounting environment;

· Provide financial leadership to key business partners in RBU, SMO across multi-functional teams

· Lead in cross country-category loss analysis to deliver net savings and drive competitive cost structure to fuel profitable growth for the business;

· Lead financial analysis of category plans, giving business recommendations to leaders

· Lead in delivering high standards of stewardship in organisation and process workflow

· Increases efficiency by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements

· Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential

· Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications

Qualifications

· 10+ years of proven track record in managing high volume P&L budget across a matrix organization with high level of agility

· A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA/MBA preferred

· Detailed understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

· Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles

· Ability to multi-task and work in an exciting fast paced environment

· Maturity, integrity, and high level of discretion are required

· Independent worker and analytical problem solver with an ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve sophisticated problems

· Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership

· Financial modeling expertise a plus

· Experience in consumer goods industry and/or eCommerce/digital would be beneficial.

· Experience in markets in our regions (i.e. Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam)
