Overview of the role

You will be accountable for business planning and commercial design finance for the region focused on Japan in Fabric & Home Care business unit. You will take a lead to design mid / long term Japan Fabric Care business strategy and financial glidepath by collaborating with multi-functional team. You will manage short-term financial result delivery and financial reporting by providing explanation of variances and key performance drivers and consolidation of business results to senior management. You will own initiative financial design including new product design with innovation, pricing strategy, and promotion strategy. Your team

This role reports to the Finance Director and works closely with Marketing / Product Supply / Sales on financial planning, design work, and analysis.

Responsibilities of the role

· Lead in delivering high standards of stewardship in organisation and process workflow.

Qualifications

· At least 4 years of proven track record in managing financial forecast and budget management across a matrix organization with high level of agility.

· Past working experience in Japan market for the consumer goods industry is preferred.

· Japanese language fluency preferred.

· Detailed understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

The Corporate Finance & Disclosures Department regulates:

3-month full-time attachment to the Consumer Issues Division (CSI). You will be expected to primarily handle consumer calls and complaints on financial institutions (FIs) and unlicensed entities, and follow-through a case from start to end. Besides consumers,you will also engage with FIs and other government agencies, as well as relevant MAS supervisory and policy departments on assigned cases.    Apart from handling consumer feedback, you could also be involved in relevant projects such as using the experience to improve the working model between CSI and other departments, ways to harness the feedback to improve policies, complaints analytics and consumer risk surveillance projects.
