Our Customer Experience Ambassadors are the champions for the Containers for Change Scheme and play an important role in ensuring that our customers return to our recycling centres time and time again. They achieve this by ensuring our customers have a great experience when visiting our centres by providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the recycling centre is clean and tidy and ensuring our machines and sorting equipment are running as intended. Our Customer Experience Ambassadors also play a large role in boosting the TOMRA brand and are the face of TOMRA here in Australia.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as the first point of contact for customer queries
- Going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service to ensure our customers have a great experience
- Ensuring the recycling centre is well presented by maintaining a safe, clean, efficient and professional environment for team members and TOMRA customers
- Carryout regular cleaning and maintenance of our reverse vending machines
- Monitoring the recycling centre for any hazards and reporting concerns as they arise
- Ad-hoc duties as required by management 

We are searching for a confident and detail-focused Customer Service & Validation Coordinator to join our Customer Experience (CX) team

Working in a fast-paced and KPI-driven environment, this role is critical to the successful delivery of our Mystery Shopping and Auditing programs. You will be responsible for both job fulfilment and validation of mystery shopping reports to ensure high-quality outcomes for our clients.

You will be joining a close-knit team that supports each other and works collaboratively in a high-energy environment.

 Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure all Mystery Shopping and Auditing jobs are filled on time to meet client deadlines
• Validate mystery shopping and audit reports for accuracy, consistency and quality
• Manage daily workforce planning across job filling and validation targets
• Provide clear, constructive feedback and coaching to mystery shoppers to improve report quality
• Respond to shopper and validation enquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Work closely with Client Service Managers to support program delivery and client expectations
• Take a solution-focused approach to problem solving using a WIN/WIN mindset
• Assist in minimising resubmits, revisits and operational costs while maintaining service quality

Essential Criteria

• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
• High attention to detail and strong quality control mindset
• Confident, proactive and solutions-focused attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing workloads
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills
• Previous experience in customer service, operations, validation, retail, call centre or administrative roles preferred

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Provide a warm and friendly reception to guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process while addressing any immediate inquiries or needs.
• Maintain clear and courteous communication with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders across various channels, including in-person, phone, and email, to provide exceptional service.
• Oversee the accurate processing of guest reservations, updates, and special requests, utilising property management systems to ensure seamless scheduling and availability.
• Act as a primary point of contact for guests throughout their stay, offering prompt assistance, resolving issues, and providing personalised recommendations to enhance their experience.

Shift Details (subject to change):

• 38 Hours Per Week
• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday 
• Shift times scheduled within 7:00am to 11:00pm
• Immediate start available

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $26.70 per hour 

Saturday: $33.38 per hour 

Sunday: $40.05 per hour
