About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Airfreight Customer Service Executive to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end air shipment processes covering either import OR export operations. You will serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, customers, overseas agents, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls promptly and courteously.

• Respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner.

• Apply basic knowledge of cargo commodities in accordance with IATA rules and regulations.

• Handle Air Import OR Export shipment coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders regarding shipment requirements.

• Coordinate flight bookings with the procurement team.

• Review AWB/HAWB and other necessary shipping documents; inform customers and overseas agents of any discrepancies or non-compliance.

• Ensure all data is updated accurately in the system.

• Liaise with overseas agents on requirements and rates.

• Obtain rate approval from customers prior to shipment departure.

• Provide flight details and freight status updates to customers promptly.

• Ensure compliance with AED requirements and job file closures within KPI timelines.

• Monitor shipment uplift and transit to ensure timely arrival/delivery to consignees; update shippers and destination stations on any delays.

• Maintain a good understanding of customer SOPs and shipment handling requirements, ensuring compliance prior to shipping to achieve customer satisfaction.

• Monitor progress to meet month-end targets, annual objectives, and KPIs.

• Support colleagues in shipment execution when required.

• Provide airfreight quotations upon request.

• Handle supplier invoice disputes.

• Escalate issues or concerns requiring broader attention or resolution in a timely manner.

• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Degree.

• 2-4 years of experience in airfreight forwarding (import and/or export).

• Good written and spoken English.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Executive to join a leading logistics provider's contract logistics team. In this role, you will work closely with the sales and operations teams to support business development efforts, manage customer accounts, and ensure seamless service delivery for warehousing and distribution clients.

This is a sales enablement role—not a pure hunting position. You will be responsible for preparing proposals, managing tenders, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring that client requirements are translated into operational solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support & Proposal Management

• Prepare and coordinate sales proposals, quotations, and tender submissions (RFQ/RFP) for contract logistics services.
• Work with operations, pricing, and legal teams to ensure proposals are commercially viable and operationally sound.
• Maintain a library of standard sales documents, case studies, and capability statements.

Client Coordination

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients during the sales and onboarding phase.
• Liaise between clients and internal operations teams to ensure smooth handover from sales to execution.
• Support account management activities, including contract renewals and service reviews.

Operational Support

• Assist the Head of Contract Logistics Operations in tracking sales pipelines, preparing reports, and monitoring KPIs.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transport teams to ensure client requirements are understood and met.
• Support the implementation of new client accounts, including SOP development and system setup.

Administrative & Compliance

• Maintain accurate records of client communications, contracts, and pricing agreements.
• Ensure all sales documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Head of Contract Logistics Operations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales support, key account management, or customer service within the logistics industry.
• Prior experience in contract logistics, warehousing, or distribution is strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of contract logistics operations (warehousing, inventory management, distribution).
• Experience preparing tenders (RFQ/RFP) and sales proposals.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills—able to work with both internal teams and external clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Familiarity with CRM or WMS systems is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

4. Commercial & Administrative

• Timely escalation of issues/concerns that require broader attention and resolution.

• Take on all other ad-hoc tasks delegated by Supervisor/Manager.

5. QHSE Responsibilities

• Participate in the set-up and follow-up of internal standard procedures to enhance productivity and transparency.

• Maintain acceptable Health, Safety and Environmental risk levels in your area of responsibility.

• Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding.

• Proficient in MS Office and ability to work independently.
