The Group Marketplace team manages Grab's marketplaces across Southeast Asia. The team works with partners across multiple departments in Grab to build improvements through marketplace levers such as pricing, incentives and allocation. You will be part of the team that generates business insights and propose data-driven strategic plans to grow the transport business.
Get to Know the Role
You will use data-driven insights to create a sustainable, reliable and efficient marketplace for Grab's transport business. We are looking for you to have (a) familiarity with large datasets and experience piecing together data to form insights and (b) ability to work with many different teams including Product and Country Operations. Reporting to Marketplace Manager (Mobility), you will be based onsite at our Ortigas office with flexible work arrangements.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will lead projects involving teams to improve metrics on all sides of the marketplace
- You will propose new experiments and own end-to-end experimentation process including experiment design, rollout and analysis of results
- You will monitor daily marketplace metrics, investigate short-term anomalies and troubleshoot with the product team
- You will develop daily tactical solutions and longer-term strategic plans to improve marketplace dynamics
- You will work with different teams and departments to support goals and projects of Grab as a whole
