WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
Primary focus
This role plays a key part in maintaining a smooth and productive working environment by delivering Hardware and IT support services to Gameloft Hanoi employees. From managing hardware assets and supporting end users with technical issues to setting up workstations and improving support processes, you will help ensure the studio’s daily operations run efficiently and effectively.
What it means on a daily basis
Hardware service
- Register and keep track of all devices borrowed by the production teams, ensuring that the borrowers keep, maintain, and give back the devices in accordance with the company regulations.
- Examine cellphone unit, observe the operation, install the testing program into it to test and update phones’ technical specs, specific issues, and solutions, drivers, tools into Technical Knowledge Data Base Web Tool
- Run HW process; HW tools, observe and optimize the process related to the task and raise new ideas to make HW process effective (Hardware Lockbox, DMT Report, and SIM Cost …)
- Ready to come to the company to support the emergency cases if receiving the requests.
IT service:
- Receiving support requests directly from users, via emails or hotlines, logging tickets to the Helpdesk system, and confirming the reception of requests to users in a timely manner
- Set up/Revoke, Maintain/Upgrade the PCs (hardware/software/connectivity) for newcomers/resigned User and Gameloft employees from other studios
- By oneself or together with the team, analyzing the issues, proposing solutions, and implementing them in accordance with ETA guidelines for common IT tasks. Main areas of support include PCs (hardware/software/connectivity), LAN cabling, Wireless, printers, fax machines, scanners, photocopying machines, projectors, fixed telephones, and other IT devices
- Escalating serious incidents to IT Supervisor/ Manager and the Management for immediate attention and decision making
- Support with Company Events and other administrative tasks
