Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications and microservices.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define technical requirements and solutions.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and adherence to best practices.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance our technology stack.
- Experience with SpringBoot is a must.
- Cloud & DevOps experience with AWS/ Azure/ or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is non-negotiable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in Java development, with strong expertise in frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Proficient in building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora, or Microsoft Azure SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Experience in fintech, banking, or payments industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
