Job Scope:

Key Responsibilities

Mandatory Requirements

1. Direct experience in a business that provides investment advice to clients and/or conducts discretionary investment management on behalf of clients. This is the core requirement. Acceptable backgrounds include investment advisory, wealth management, investment consultancy, wealth solutions, discretionary portfolio management, private banking, or fund management — terminology varies by institution, so candidates should be assessed on substance (did the business advise clients on, or manage, investments) rather than exact job title.

2. That experience must cover one or more of the underlying asset classes listed above (CIS/ETFs, securities, exchange-traded derivatives, OTC derivatives, spot FX, structured deposits). Broader coverage across these asset classes is preferred.

3. The candidate's previous employer for the relevant experience would preferably be a licensed or regulated financial institution under MAS or an equivalent regulator in another jurisdiction. The candidate does not need to have held a CEO, Director, or Responsible Officer (RO) title personally, but the employing entity itself is supposed to hold the relevant license or regulatory status. Experience at an unregulated business does not satisfy this requirement.

4. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a managerial capacity; 10+ years strongly preferred.

Job Description

The Centre for International Law at the National University of Singapore is a university-level research centre, with the mission of producing cutting edge research on international law. It is also at the forefront of capacity-building initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region through workshops, conferences, training sessions, and academic programmes that engage a diverse audience of government and private sector professionals as well as academics. 

CIL is inviting applications for Post-Doctoral Fellowship positions commencing in September 2026. Initial appointments will be for one year, with the possibility of extension to a second year contingent upon satisfactory progress during the first year.

Applications are open to prospective fellows with research projects in all areas of international law. Special consideration will be given to projects with relevance to the Asia Pacific region, to Climate Change and all areas of ASEAN Law and Policy.

Preference will be accorded to candidates aspiring to pursue an academic career, as the programme is specifically designed to support such aspirations. Alongside specialized mentoring, Fellows will have opportunities to participate in workshops which involves all aspects of academic life, including research design, writing, teaching and examination, publication strategies, supervision, and enhancing methodological skills.

Qualifications

The selection committee will consider the following criteria in making appointments:

1. Applicants must possess a doctoral degree in international law obtained within the past 2 years. Doctoral students expecting to defend their dissertation no later than 31 July 2026 may also apply.
2. The primary selection criterion will be the applicant's potential for excellence in research and the quality and originality of his /her proposed research project. The quality of the doctoral dissertation as well as any other publications will be the primary evidence of such potential. This postdoc offers the rare opportunity to work at the intersection of precision metrology, many-body quantum physics, and real-world timekeeping infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and characterise multi-ion ¹⁷⁶Lu⁺ crystals in a linear Paul trap, developing robust protocols for ion loading and cooling.
• Implement and refine correlated clock interrogation schemes — Ramsey spectroscopy and spin-echo sequences — on ion ensembles to suppress noise below the standard quantum limit.

·       Provides guidance to the Crew Claims Advisor in measuring medical claims performance as per company defined KPIs

Communications and Reporting:

·       Provides guidance and direction to the Senior Fleet Personnel Assistant in coordinating Master/Chief Engineer visit to the charterers’ office and Setting Up for Success Program

·       Working with the Director, Talent Development, enables successful change management in a constructive and effective manner, to aid improving Fleet Personnel performance and mature the organization efficiently

·       Provides support to the Director, Talent Development in development of regional seafarer Forums and leadership conferences as required

Project Management and System Support:

·       Provides Fleet Personnel project management support as required

·       Provides support and user expertise for various system improvement initiatives in various platforms such as Crew Management software, Crew Communications platforms, and the like

·       Performs other duties as assigned including working in other functional areas to cover absences 

Responsibilities:

• Perform packing and unpacking of deliveries to ensure items are properly prepared for storage or distribution

• Accurately process online transactions, including receiving, delivering, and moving materials within the warehouse.

• Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy.

• Apply correct material labeling to ensure traceability and compliance with warehouse standards.

• Stock shelves, organize inventory, and repackage materials as needed.

• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience using SAP or equivalent enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for warehouse operations.

• Proficient computer skills, including data entry and transaction processing.

• Prior experience in material handling, inventory management, and warehouse operations.

• Excellent communication skills.

Prepare of tender documents, cost planning control and budget estimation

- Prepare, review and revise contract terms and conditions

- Preparing, negotiating and analysis costs for tenders and contracts

We operate out of a private estate/home-office setup and are looking for a highly versatile, trustworthy, and organized individual to support our business operations, manage our medical inventory, and oversee the maintenance of the property.

Role Summary This is a unique, multi-faceted role combining sales administration, medical logistics, and property management. You will be the backbone of our daily operations—ensuring that orders from hospitals and clinics are processed accurately, surgical implants and instruments are dispatched on time, and our private office estate remains well-maintained, secure, and fully functional.

1. Sales Administration & Order Processing

· Process incoming purchase orders, generate invoices, and issue delivery orders accurately.

· Act as the point of contact for customer inquiries, coordinating with hospital procurement teams, clinic staff, and sales representatives.

· Maintain and update customer databases, sales records, and pricing lists.

· Assist in basic accounting tasks, such as tracking payments, following up on receivables, and preparing monthly sales reports.

2. Warehouse & Logistics Management (Medical Devices)

· Manage the full cycle of inventory for orthopaedic medical devices, ensuring strict compliance with storage guidelines.

· Carefully track batch numbers, lot codes, and expiration dates for all surgical implants and hardware.

· Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments from overseas manufacturers.

· Pick, pack, and coordinate the dispatch of devices for scheduled surgeries, ensuring 100% accuracy.

· Conduct regular stocktakes and liaise with courier services for timely deliveries and returns.

3. Estate & Property Caretaking

· Oversee the general upkeep, cleanliness, and security of the property/home-office.

· Manage and maintain the swimming pool, including regular cleaning, chemical balancing, and scheduling specialized maintenance when necessary.

· Coordinate with external contractors (landscaping, HVAC, pest control, pool specialists) and supervise their work on-site.

· Ensure all estate utilities and facilities are in optimal working condition.

Requirements & Qualifications

· Prior experience in sales administration, logistics, or warehouse management. Experience handling medical devices, healthcare products, or strict-batch inventory is highly advantageous.

· Highly meticulous and detail-oriented (crucial for handling surgical inventory and order accuracy).

· Physically capable of handling warehouse duties, including lifting and organizing boxes of inventory.

· Proactive, hands-on, and willing to take ownership of property maintenance tasks.

· Trustworthy and reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility.

· Proficient in basic MS Office applications (Excel, Word) and comfortable learning inventory management software.

· Class 3 driving license to assist with urgent medical deliveries if required.
