KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Business Development & Account Management
– Identify, prospect, and convert new project opportunities in enterprise cabling and M&E ELV systems across commercial and industrial sectors
– Build and maintain relationships with M&E consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, developers, and end-users
– Grow a portfolio of recurring accounts through regular client engagement and value-added service
▪ Solution Selling & Technical Consultation
– Conduct site surveys, assess project requirements, and recommend appropriate cabling infrastructure or ELV system solutions
– Prepare and present technical proposals and quotations tailored to client specifications
– Liaise with internal technical teams and brand principals to scope and price solutions accurately
▪ Project Pipeline & Tender Management
– Track, qualify, and manage active project pipelines using CRM tools
– Participate in tender submissions — including bill of quantities (BOQ) review, specifications compliance, and pricing strategy
– Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams to ensure timely delivery and project execution
▪ Market Intelligence & Reporting
– Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and project leads within Singapore and the broader SEA region
– Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to management
– Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and vendor roadshows
REQUIREMENTS
▪ 5 to 7 years of sales experience in one or more of the following:
– Enterprise structured cabling — Cat6, Cat6A, Cat7, fibre optic (OS1/OS2, OM3/OM4), data centre cabling
– M&E ELV systems — public address (PA), CCTV/security, door access control, HVAC controls, BMS/IBMS, fire alarm, or integrated building systems
▪ Proven track record of achieving sales targets in commercial or industrial building projects
▪ Familiarity with M&E project cycles, tender processes, and BOQ-based selling
▪ Established network of contacts within the Singapore M&E contractor, SI, and developer ecosystem is a strong advantage
▪ Technically conversant in cabling standards (TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC) and/or ELV system specifications
▪ Self-motivated with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
▪ Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or ERP systems (e.g. Odoo, Salesforce) preferred
▪ Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Building Services, IT, or related discipline
