We're looking for a senior leader to run our APJ solutions architecture team supporting AWS Partner Programs. You'll lead a team of experienced builders who work directly with our APN Programs team to design and operationalize our flagship Partner programs.

You'll inherit an established, high-performing team spread across APJ. The primary focus is building scalable, programmatic mechanisms that impact the broader Partner community across the region. The work spans flagship APN programs like MAP, AWS Specializations, and AWS Marketplace. Your team will engage 1:1 with strategic partners and handle escalations, but the real measure of success is the 1:many approaches that lift the entire Partner community.

A day in the life

Most of your energy goes toward building systems that compound, though you'll occasionally engage directly with strategic partners on complex escalations. Your key stakeholders are the APN Programs team, AWS Marketplace, Partner Services, and SA leadership across APJ.

This is a fast-paced role. We work at the speed of startup founders, are able to engage personas from developers to technical founders and CXOs. You will work along side Solution Architects and Product Specialists, Inside Sales, Business Development, and technology and services partners. You will be a self-starter, travel for in-person meetings, and attend events. You will develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets and measurable business objectives.

Key job responsibilities

• Ensure customer success with early and mid stage startups
• Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical
• Accelerate customer adoption through well-developed sales engagements and successful GTM Strategy
• Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and goal targets.
• Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
• Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
• Accelerate customer adoption by engaging Founders, CxO, Board of Directors and VC influencers
• Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.

Basic qualifications

• 8+ years of technology-related sales, marketing or business development experience
• 4+ years of technical sales in B2B environments, in a solution-sales / technology-related environment experience
• 5+ years of working cross functionally across several teams experience, or a MBA and 4+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
• Bachelor's degree or above

Preferred qualifications

• 4+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
• 5+ years of technology-related sales, marketing or business development experience
• 8+ years of prior work in business development, sales, or sales-engineering, preferably in the technology, internet and e-commerce sectors experience
• Bachelor's degree, or experience partnering with multiple business leaders in a complex and fast-paced business setting which is in high growth mode
• Experience managing time efficiently, meeting personal goals, and working effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams
