The Copyeditor/Subeditor is responsible for copyediting, proofreading and production editing for one of our client's marketing communications materials, working closely with writers and other creatives to maintain the highest possible standards.

The ideal candidate is technically-savvy, possesses a keen eye and an exceptional attention to detail to ensure clarity and accuracy in each project copy. • You are responsible for leading a small team of web development, and working with various teams in different locality

Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Web-based applications.
• Ensuring project completion on schedule and of high quality, focus on developing and maintaining of Enterprise solutions, such as Payroll and HR-related systems.
• Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web-based business applications built on Microsoft technologies.
• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
• Design, and develop unit test applications in accordance with established standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/related fields or equivalent working experience.
• Minimum 5 years of development experience using C#, ASP/ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, MVC frameworks, T-SQL as well as MS SQL.
• A thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in web-based applications development, Object Oriented Programming, & API integration.
• Experience with source code management tools such as TFS, SVN, &etc.
• Must have strong analytical and interpersonal skills as well as outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to work under pressure and long hours to meet project schedule.

This role involves close collaboration with authors, designers, and illustrators to ensure accuracy, clarity, and engaging content for students.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Chinese/English/Science discipline
• Teaching experience in schools or tuition centres is highly preferred
• Strong language proficiency and attention to detail
• Good understanding of current educational curriculam
• Creative mindset in presenting science concepts clearly and effectively
