Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business teams to understand citizen/business needs using human-centric, visual methods such as service journeys, and develop the appropriate business case.
• Apply Design Thinking / Service Design methodology and tools to identify current state gaps and challenges, and design future state solutions.
• Work with project teams to develop user stories, functional/technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate and recommend suitable technology solutions while aligning with the company’s technology directions, such as cloud-based solutions, enterprise architecture, and modernization of legacy systems.
• Identify and adopt the appropriate development methodology (e.g., Agile or Waterfall) based on project requirements and environment (Outsourced, Co-Sourced, or In-house).
• Lead and participate in Agile practices and ceremonies where Agile methodology is adopted.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT business analysis, application solution design, and testing.
• Experience participating in at least one full software or product development cycle, preferably using Agile Methodology.
• Strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated individual to join Lighthouse Canton’s Asset Management team as an Analyst. This is a broad, generalist role designed to provide early exposure to two complementary pillars of how a modern asset management business is run: business strategy and business finance.

The Analyst will work directly with the Business Manager and, where relevant, the CEO of Asset Management, supporting a range of initiatives spanning market research, financial analysis, performance tracking, and project execution. The role is well-suited to someone who is eager to learn, comfortable with numbers and structured thinking, and keen to build a career at the intersection of investments, operations, and business building.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in market research, competitiveanalysis, and business assessments to support strategic decision-making
• Support the evaluation of new businesslines, product launches, and other strategic growth initiatives
• Assist in preparation of presentations, briefing notes, maintaining and updating internal financial dashboards, business performance trackers, analytical outputs and management reports for senior leadership discussions

Qualifications

• Strong academic record; demonstrated quantitative or analytical aptitude
• Exposure to financial modelling or data analysis tools is an advantage
• Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills
