System Engineer

Job Descriptions:

• Plan and design CCTV network infrastructure and effective surveillance coverage

• Install, configure, and commission IP cameras, DVRs/NVRs, video management systems (VMS), and associated hardware/Software
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, VLANs, VPNs, and PoE networks supporting camera infrastructure
• Establish high availability VPN connectivity across multiple CCTV sites
• Monitor CCTV and network performance, diagnose issues, and perform proactive maintenance
• Apply firmware updates, security patches, and resolve vulnerabilities in network devices
• Work alongside CCTV, access control, and IoT teams to integrate solutions into wider security platforms
• Perform site surveya, risk assessments, and recommend enhancements
• Maintain detailed documentation and network topology diagrams
• Train clients and internal Team on CCTV system operation, maintenance, and security best practice
• Ensure adherence to standards such as ONVIF, NSI, MOI SSD and local regulations

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field
• Certifications: Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), COMPTIA security+, HiKvision, Axis, Milestone, or equivalent
• 3-7 years in CCTV system deployment and network engineering
• Proven expertise in configuring IP Camera systems and video surveillance infrastructure

Prefer Technical experience in below skills:

• Networking: TCP/IP, VLAN, PoE, WAN/LAN, QoS, VPN, Multicast routing, HA Protocols (VRRP, HSRP)
• Security technologies: IPSEC, UTM, Firewalls, and Cybersecurity beat practices
• Proficiency with Wireshark/Sniffer tools and Linux environments
• Experience with any CCTV platforms: Dahua, HiKvision, Uniview, HiKcentral, Bosch, Milestone will be added advantage
