Job Scope :

• Oversees the plant production operation and ensures that all work instructions and procedures are strictly followed.
• Collaborate with various party to organize, developing plans and effective scheduling of rules for optimum utilization of production capacity.
• Ensure execution of production progress are follow the production schedule within the time frame given.
• Liaising and coordinate between Admin Department, Logistic Department, Procurement Department, Sub-contractor and related person to ensure smooth of daily production.
• Collaborate and initiate to identify and diagnosing the root cause of product’s defect to improve production’s efficiency.
• Ensures the quality of the production of precast concrete components in accordance with latest approved shop drawings, work instructions, casting program & approved quality control methods.
• To perform of full inspection of daily pre-pour and post-pour inspections of precast components with consultant’s representative according to approved precast shop drawings.
• Assist in monitoring and controlling material usage and wastage are within tolerance.
• To assist Senior Production Engineer in managing a team of Production Supervisors, and workers in ensuring timely production and delivery of precast components. Disseminate through Production Executive if needed.
• Providing necessary production’s documentation to Admin.
• Maintain and implement quality control system in the factory and project sites by following the project quality manual and standard operating procedures set by the company.
• Liaising with Production Department’s member and sub-contractors for any non-conformance for pre-pour inspection, trains workers whenever necessary and as required.
• Any other tasks which may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experiences in Precast Industry
• Knowledge of Autocad would be an advantage

The primary responsibility of this role is to collaborate with part suppliers and contract manufacturers on both new and existing products to resolve product and process issues. This position requires strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on technical problem-solving capabilities, and solid design expertise to improve or correct products throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the NPI team on new product introduction projects, working closely with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement, Sourcing, and Operations to ensure a smooth transition from design to stable mass production, aligned with program timelines and quality objectives.
• Support the design of 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for components involving mechanisms, sheet metal structures, plastic housings, and gearing systems.
• Conduct Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), Design for Inspection (DFI), and Design to Cost (DTC) reviews to ensure designs are manufacturable, inspectable, and cost-effective.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives through Value Engineering and Design-to-Cost principles across the product development lifecycle.
• Review and approve tooling and manufacturing processes for fabricated parts, including First Article Inspection (FAI) and verification of form, fit, and function at each development phase.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for product and process issues using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone diagrams.
• Apply statistical tools, including process capability studies and Design of Experiments (DOE), to optimize product and process performance.
• Perform functional and reliability testing during validation and verification phases in collaboration with the Quality team.
• Work closely with suppliers and contract manufacturers to qualify tooling, materials, jigs, and fixtures.
• Monitor customer feedback and field performance data to drive continuous improvement and inform future product enhancements.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision while keeping stakeholders and management informed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong training and hands-on experience with statistical-based problem-solving methods for product and process improvement.
• High proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D and 5-Why.
• Proficiency in Pro/ENGINEER (Creo) is highly preferred; SolidWorks experience will also be considered. Experience with FEA simulation is an added advantage.
• Strong interest and aptitude in robotics, kinematics, dynamics, mechatronics, and mechanism design.
• Experience in injection-molded plastic part design, tooling best practices, and process parameter optimization.
• Proven experience bringing products from concept through high-volume manufacturing.
• Familiarity with sheet metal design and fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of rapid prototyping techniques, including hands-on experience with 3D printing, is a plus.
• Solid understanding of GD&T principles.

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) with strong expertise in plastic injection tooling & molding processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in defining, optimizing, and validating molding parameters, reviewing and approving tooling designs, selecting appropriate resin materials, and diagnosing process-related defects. This role will work closely with suppliers to ensure robust, stable, and capable manufacturing processes from tool design through mass production.

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for supplier quality plastic injection molded components from development through mass production
- Review, evaluate, and approve tooling design (mold design) together with Engineering team to ensure manufacturability, quality, and process robustness
- Collaborate with Engineering & suppliers on mold flow analysis, gate location, cooling layout, venting, and shrinkage considerations
- Evaluate and approve supplier injection molding processes, including parameter setup and process controls
- Determine and validate optimal molding parameters
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for molding defects (e.g., sink marks, warpage, short shots, flash, burn marks, cracks, breakage)
- Assess and ensure correct resin material selection based on product requirements and application
- Conduct supplier audits focusing on molding process capability, tooling condition, and quality systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance yield, reduce variation, and improve process stability
- Responsible for review and approve PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and SPC data from suppliers.

Technical Requirements

- Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and tooling design principles
- Experience in tool design review , including:
  • Gate type and location selection
  • Runner system (hot runner / cold runner)
  • Cooling channel design and effectiveness
  • Venting and air traps
  • Ejection system design
  • Shrinkage and warpage considerations

- Deep understanding of critical process parameters:
  • Melt temperature, mold temperature
  • Injection speed and pressure
  • Holding/packing pressure and time
  • Cooling time and cycle optimization etc

- Ability to determine process windows and understand parameter variation impact
- Experience diagnosing molding defects and linking them to root causes
- Knowledge of resin materials (ABS, PC, PP, Nylon, etc.)
- Familiarity with scientific molding, decoupled molding, and/or DOE

The Packaging Design Engineer is responsible for the structural design and technical development of packaging for Cricut products. This role leads the design, engineering, and validation of packaging solutions that protect products during transportation, enable efficient manufacturing and assembly, and support retail and customer experience requirements.

Working closely with program management, product engineering, operations, and suppliers, the Packaging Design Engineer develops packaging structures, die lines, packaging documentation, and validation testing necessary to support new product launches.

Key Responsibilities

Packaging Structural Design

• Design structural packaging solutions for new product launches including retail packaging, internal protective packaging, and display machine packaging.
• Develop packaging structures that meet product protection, manufacturing efficiency, and cost requirements.
• Create and maintain packaging die lines and structural design documentation.

Engineering Documentation

• Produce detailed packaging visual assembly documentation for contract manufacturers.
• Provide bundle weights and dimensional specifications for all product configurations.
• Document waste packaging attributes and material composition.

Product Packaging Development

• Work with the Packaging Program Manager to execute packaging deliverables aligned with NPI schedules.
• Develop packaging structures for bundle configurations and SKU variations.
• Support packaging needs for display machines and retail programs.

Supplier Collaboration

• Collaborate with packaging vendors to develop prototypes and validate manufacturability.
• Support sourcing teams with technical inputs during vendor selection and cost evaluation.

Testing & Validation

• Support transportation and packaging validation testing in collaboration with Quality teams.
• Ensure packaging meets shipping durability and regulatory requirements.

PLM Documentation

• Upload packaging specifications, files, and waste packaging details into Arena PLM.

• Maintain accurate engineering documentation for packaging designs and revisions.
