nSearch Global is hiring a Software Architect / Technical Lead to join as a core founding member of our HR tech product team. You will own the technical architecture, lead the build, and shape our product as it moves from MVP into production.
This is a hands-on senior engineering role. You will work directly with the founder, our engineering team, and HR domain experts to make critical technical decisions, set engineering standards, and steer the technical roadmap. The role is full-stack and central to everything we ship.
This is not a pre-sales or enterprise architecture advisory role. We are looking for someone who builds.
What you will do
Technical architecture and engineering leadership
- Own the technical architecture of the platform end to end across frontend, backend, data, and integration layers
- Lead design decisions on multi-tenancy, scalability, performance, hosting, and data residency
- Set engineering standards for code quality, security, testing, and documentation, and guide the team in applying them
- Review code, weigh in on architecture trade-offs, and unblock the team on technical decisions
- Drive enterprise readiness including SOC2 alignment, audit logging, role-based access, and security posture suitable for enterprise and government clients
- Work directly with our offshore engineering team on prioritisation, technical direction, and delivery
System integration and platform architecture
- Define and maintain an integration roadmap across ATS, HRIS, payroll, onboarding, CRM, analytics, and identity systems
- Design integration patterns using REST APIs, web services, webhooks, middleware, ETL, or SFTP where appropriate
- Drive enterprise identity requirements such as SSO (SAML or OIDC), user provisioning (SCIM is a plus), role-based access control, and audit logs
Testing, UAT, and release readiness
- Plan and coordinate workflow-based UAT with internal users and pilot customers, with clear scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Establish regression testing and release management practices that scale as we onboard more customers
Product mindset
- Bring a product mindset to technical decisions, thinking beyond MVP toward productisation, scalability, and long-term maintainability
- Partner with the founder on what is core product, what is paid implementation, and what is custom work, and protect that line as we grow
What we are looking for
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7 to 10 years of experience in software engineering and architecture
- Demonstrated experience leading the technical architecture of an enterprise product or SaaS platform end to end
- Strong full-stack background with the ability to write code, review code, and guide architecture decisions across frontend, backend services, databases, and cloud fundamentals
- Hands-on experience integrating enterprise systems using APIs, web services, or middleware, ideally across ATS, HRIS, payroll, CRM, analytics, or identity systems
- Comfortable working with offshore engineering partners and across multiple time zones
- Practical experience with system testing, UAT coordination, regression testing, and release management for enterprise systems
