We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team, a leading industrial development and construction company based in Kuala Lumpur. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our construction projects, ensuring they are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing and analysing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects
Negotiating and managing contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure the best possible terms
Monitoring project budgets and forecasts, and providing regular updates to the management team
Identifying potential cost savings and implementing cost control measures
Providing expert advice and guidance to the project team on contractual and commercial matters
Ensuring full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
REQUIREMENTS
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the construction industry
Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and regulations
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders

We are seeking energetic and young candidates for Assistant Quantity Surveyor’s role with expertise in Quantity Surveying to manage costs related to construction projects within a consultancy environment. The role focuses on optimizing value for money while maintaining quality and compliance with project requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
To prepare tender documents including measurements and Bills of Quantities.
To prepare cost estimates.
