Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage quality control processes to ensure products meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Handle customer complaints and quality issues through investigation and corrective actions.
• Inspect incoming raw materials, purchased components, and finished assemblies against engineering drawings and purchase order specifications.
• Developing metrics and reporting to track the ongoing quality trends across a variety of data quality dimensions.
• Perform dimensional measurements using calipers,  micrometers, depth  gauges, and height gauges per approved inspection procedure.
• Conduct visual inspections for surface finish, coating quality, assembly completeness, and workmanship defects against reference standards.
• Apply sampling plans correctly to determine appropriate lot inspection quantities and record lot acceptance or rejection decisions.
• Tag, segregate, and document nonconforming materials using nonconformance tags and electronic quality records.
• Complete inspection records, traveler documents, and certificates of conformance accurately and legibly.
• Maintain and verify calibration status of inspection gauges; remove out-of-calibration tools from service and submit for calibration.
• Perform in-process inspections at defined production checkpoints per the approved control plan.
• Support first article inspections by gathering dimensional data for new part numbers under quality engineer direction.
• Communicate inspection findings clearly to production supervisors, material handlers, and quality staff to facilitate timely disposition decisions.
• Suggesting improvements to production processes to enhance quality control.
• Training the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.

We are expanding our technical sales team and seeking an experienced Solution Engineer to support our sales force in winning and delivering complex projects.

The Role

As a Solution Engineer, you will be the technical backbone of our sales team — translating customer requirements into winning solutions. Working closely with our salespeople, you will:

• Prepare technical and commercial responses for tenders and RFQs
• Develop costings, BOQs, and pricing proposals
• Produce system designs, single-line diagrams, and equipment sizing (UPS, cooling, power distribution)
• Interpret and complete technical specifications and compliance schedules
• Recommend the right products from our principal range to match project requirements
• Support sales presentations and technical clarifications with clients and consultants
• Liaise with principals on product selection, lead times, and technical queries

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years' working experience in a technical sales, sales engineering, or solution/applications engineering role — ideally in power systems, UPS, cooling, or data centre infrastructure
• Solid grasp of technical documentation, specifications, costing, and tender preparation
• Strong attention to detail and able to work to tender deadlines
• Good command of English; able to communicate confidently with consultants and end-users
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); AutoCAD an advantage
• A team player who enjoys supporting a sales team to close deals

Compliance

•Ensure processes and practices comply with ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 17025 to the

compliance to ISO.

•Ensure processes and practices comply with Local regulations such as DOSH and DOE requirements.

•Act as an internal auditor, carry out internal check on all department from time to time. Document all

finding(s) and follow up with responsible parties.

•Perform audit on suppliers and vendor together with subject matter experts and supply chain. Provide

recommendation report based on the audit finding(s).

Quality

•Carry out calibration program for all QC equipment from prompting operation team for calibration, liaise with calibration service provider, to record keeping of QC equipment.

•Create and review Inspection Test Plan in accordance to the agreed/ project specific Application Procedure Specification.

•Customer Key contact person for Quality related enquiry

•Coordinator of Non-Conformance Report and Root Cause Analysis

•Prepare and issue Certificate of Conformity, Material Record Book, and other related document to

complete the documentation for client.

•Enforce and comply to all quality requirements.

•Understanding test requirement to relevant material in specified ISO.

HSE

•Coordinator of HSE investigation.

•With the help from Subject Matter Expert, perform Risk Assessment, HIRARC, and EAIA.

•Enforce and comply to all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.

Document Control

•Control the revision of company document.

•To control distribution of document to internal and external parties.

Other duties as assigned.

1. Perform machine set up, adjustment and tooling arrangement for CNC Grinding machines.
2. Read and interpret machining drawing, GD&T, tolerance requirements.
3. Select correct grinding wheel, speed, feed, fixture and clamping method.
4. Perform offset adjustment, dressing and balancing of grinding wheel.
5. Operate machine to produce parts according to quality / dimension target.
6. Conduct in-process measurement using micrometer, Vernier caliper, height gauge, profile projector, CMM (if required).
7. Ensure part quality meets drawing specification and customer requirement.
8. Maintain good housekeeping 5S around machine area.
9. Report any abnormality, machine breakdown or quality deviation to superior immediately.
10. Follow safety rules, PPE and company SOP at all times.
11. To carry out ISO9001, ISO 14001and IATF16949 activities.
