OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The SalesExecutive – Rooms is responsible for supporting the growth of room revenue through proactive sales activities, account servicing and business development efforts.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role focuses on generating room business opportunities across key market segments including corporate, leisure and travel trade. The Sales Executive assists in maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring excellent service throughout the sales process.

Working closely with the Sales, Revenue Management, Reservations and Operations teams, this role supports the achievement of room revenue targets and overall commercial objectives.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities of the Sales Executive – Rooms are summarised below; however, the list is not exhaustive.

GENERAL DUTIES

•Proactively prospect and generate room business opportunities across corporate, leisure and travel trade segments.

• Conduct sales calls, client visits, networking activities and site inspections to promote the hotel.

• Respond promptly to client enquiries regarding room bookings, negotiated rates and group accommodation requests.

• Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts and rate agreements in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.

• Assist with client presentations, familiarisation trips, trade shows, networking events and sales missions.

• Support the execution of sales plans and initiatives to achieve room revenue goals.

•Undertake any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Director ofSales.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

•Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, travel agents, wholesalers and business partners.

• Assist in managing a portfolio of accounts and supporting account growth strategies.

• Monitor account production and identify opportunities for increased business.

• Ensure all client interactions reflect NoMad’s service philosophy and luxury hospitality standards.

•Maintain accurate client records, contact details and account activities.

SALES PERFORMANCE & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

• Support the achievement of individual and departmental room night and revenue targets.

•Identify new business opportunities through market research, prospecting and relationship building.

• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and industry developments.

• Assist in maintaining an active sales pipeline and conversion tracking.

•Contribute to sales forecasts, reports and business reviews.

COLLABORATION & COORDINATION

• Work closely with Reservations, Front Office and Revenue Management teams to ensure smooth handling of room bookings and client requirements.

•Coordinate with Events and Food & Beverage teams when group accommodation includes meetings, events or dining components.

• SupportMarketing & Communications initiatives that drive room demand and brand awareness.

• Ensure clear and timely communication between clients and hotel departments.

ADMINISTRATION & REPORTING

•Maintain accurate records of sales activities, account management updates and client correspondence within the CRM system.

• Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports.

• Track enquiries, leads, bookings and production performance.

• Ensure all contracts, agreements and documentation are completed accurately and filed appropriately.

• Assist with database management and sales administration tasks.

GUEST EXPERIENCE & BRAND REPRESENTATION

•Represent NoMad Singapore professionally in all client interactions and external engagements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage end-to-end recruitment and staffing activities for both local and foreign employees, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and personnel databases, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Oversee the administration of staff accommodation for foreign employees, including coordinating with appointed HDB realtor for suitable dormitories, managing tenancy agreements and renewals, monitoring occupancy, utilities usage and payment and ensuring compliance with MOM accommodation requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate with various departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration on HR-related matters.
• Assist in addressing employee relations issues, including handling grievances, conducting preliminary investigations, and supporting disciplinary processes in accordance with company policies.
• Coordinate and administer employee training and development programmes to support workforce competency and professional growth.
• Liaise with employment agencies on matters relating to the application, renewal, cancellation, and repatriation of foreign employees’ work permits.
• Submit online applications to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) for foreign worker levy waivers during employees’ home leave periods.
• Process applications with MOM for levy concessions or conversions when foreign employees successfully obtain relevant certifications, including the ITE Healthcare (Home Care) qualification.
• Serve as the key liaison with government agencies and external stakeholders, including MOM, the Ministry of Health (MOH), Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB), embassies, and other relevant authorities on matters relating to employment and foreign workforce management.
• Administer insurance claims and coordinate with insurers as required.
• Compile and prepare payroll-related information for submission to the Finance/Accounts Department.
• Update relevant authorities and systems, including the Intermediate and Long-Term Care (ILTC) sector databases, regarding staff appointments, resignations, and employment status changes.
• Ensure timely updates of foreign employees’ residential addresses with MOM and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Submit mandatory surveys online, including MOM Labour Market Survey.
• Participate as a member of the Cybersecurity Committee, supporting the development, implementation, and promotion of cybersecurity policies, staff awareness initiatives, and compliance requirements across the organization.
• Manage official correspondence and administrative communications for the nursing home.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Chief Operations Executive and Management Committee.

QUALIFICATION/ EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with Singapore employment regulations, particularly MOM policies and foreign workforce administration.
• Experience in healthcare, nursing home, or community care settings is preferred.
• Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
• A team player with a strong sense of responsibility & self-motivation to get tasks done independently.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Working 8 am to 5 pm (Mon – Fri); Alternate Sat 8 am to 12 noon.

• Assist in implementation and management of food safety (HACCP & ISO 22000) & quality assurance programmes in Central Kitchen & outlets (local & overseas)
• Training of staff in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), food hygiene and food handling techniques
• Assist in QA testing programme and new product development
• Conduct regular inspections
• Conduct investigations on customers’, outlets’ and Central Kitchen’s feedback
• Ensure all SOPs are adhered to at Central Kitchen & outlets
• Liaise with vendors/contractors on maintenance matters pertaining to food safety/QA issues

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Food Science & Technology or related field
• Preferably 3 years of working experience in the QA field in the F&B industry
• Able to write and converse well in both English & Chinese due to operational needs
• Highly motivated, meticulous and takes initiative
