Job Descriptions

• Monitoring and improving the efficiency of production output, process control and wastage control.
• Recognizes, troubleshoots, analysis problem, recommends solution and drives to root cause of process failure.
• Understand customer requirements, implement new specification and develop ideas for systems / process improvement to meet customer needs.
• Liaise with various department and customer on quality issues / requirements and escalation for improvement plans.
• Technically competent with good analytical skills, result-oriented, proactive, resourceful with a high degree of independence and perseverance.
• Ensure QMS, OHSAS and FSC CoC (Chain of custody management system) requirements are implemented and complied.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Science (Candidate who possesses Bachelor's Degree in Pulp & Paper will be added advantage).
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• High integrity with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as being a team player with strong commitment to department harmony.
• Proficient in verbal and written English, Bahasa Melayu & Bahasa Cina.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Engineering Design by using AutoCAD software. 
• Collaborate with the engineering team to meet customer requirement. 
• Responsible to take measurement under special circumstances. 
• Provide necessary information to PE / PM/ GM regarding HVAC design. 
• Ensure the design provide on timely manner. 
• Conduct analysis and testing to ensure designs meet specifications. 
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support as needed. 
• To undertake any other related jobs directed by the superior from time to time. 
• Responsible to work with PE/PM in preparation of complete tender submission. 
• Ensure complete tender submission on time. 
• This position will be mainly located at office and might need to travel to site under special occasions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software and Microsoft Office. 
• Post-secondary diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
• Good communication and teamwork abilities. 
• Proficiency in reading and writing Mandarin is highly desirable and will be considered an added advantage for this position.
