We are looking for an experienced, hands-on HR professional to oversee our full-spectrum HR operations, with a strong focus on payroll management, statutory compliance, and government affairs. As our company continues to grow across our corporate office and multiple factory sites, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations, timely payroll, and up-to-date licensing and certifications with Malaysian authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management: Handle end-to-end monthly payroll processing accurately and ensure timely submission of all statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/HRD Corp).
- Government Liaison & Applications: Act as the primary point of contact to follow up on applications with government bodies such as MIDA, MITI, JTK (Labour Department), DOSH, and Immigration (for foreign worker management/quotas if applicable).
- Company Certifications & Licensing: Monitor, renew, and secure necessary factory licenses, business permits, and industry certifications (e.g., MyHIJAU, environmental permits, or local council licenses) to ensure full operational compliance.
- HR Administration: Maintain updated employee records, manage onboarding/offboarding, and handle general office administration for our HQ and factory locations.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: At least 2–5 years of solid experience in handling HR, payroll, and government applications within Malaysia. Experience in a manufacturing, factory, or trading environment is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge: Well-versed in Malaysian Employment Act, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
- Skills: Proven track record of independently handling and following up on complex government documentation and certification processes.
- Attributes: Highly organized, proactive in following up with government officers, and capable of working independently.
- Language: Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage for factory coordination).
