Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) has primary responsibility for the execution of the firm’s enterprise-wide Anti-Money Laundering (AML), anti-bribery, and government sanctions compliance programs and, among other things, performs enhanced due diligence and government sanctions screening , as well as surveillance and investigations designed to identify potential terrorist financing, money laundering, bribery, market abuse, or other suspicious activity.

Job Requirements (Absolute Minimums)

To meet the legal regulatory framework set by MAS and internal compliance to be registered as an Appointed Representative, all applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

1. Age & Nationality

• Minimum Age: Must be at least 21 years old (regulatory requirement).
• Citizenship: Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR).

2. Minimum Academic Qualifications

Applicants must hold at least one of the following certifications (as mandated by MAS Notice FAA-N13):

• A full GCE ‘A’ Level certificate (passes in at least 3 H2 and 2 H1 subjects).
• An International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.
• A Diploma awarded by a local polytechnic in Singapore.
• A University Degree or higher qualification in any discipline. (Note: Applicants holding qualifications from overseas institutions must provide documentation proving local equivalence).

3. Training, Examination & Licensing Framework

A comprehensive, structured onboarding and licensing programme is provided to all successful candidates. Prior financial experience is not required, as you will undergo fully sponsored training to clear your regulatory requirements:

• Phase 1: Pre-Contract Licensing (Weeks 1–4) Participate in fully sponsored study boot camps and mock exam simulations to clear the mandatory Singapore College of Insurance (SCI) regulatory papers covering wealth protection, financial advisory regulations, and collective investment schemes.
• Phase 2: Product & Practical Sales Competency (Post-Exams) Once regulatory certifications are cleared, you will undergo internal structured onboarding covering proprietary product structures, financial needs analysis, plan construction, and practical client management skills.

(Note: Candidates who already hold valid and active regulatory certification passes will bypass Phase 1 and be fast-tracked for immediate market appointment).
