Prepare contracts and documents.
Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials.
Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets.
Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers.
Keep track of construction materials and inventory.
Identify potential financial or construction risks.
Advise clients on improvements, strategies, and solutions.
Review progress reports and identify any issues.
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and regulations.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of construction estimating/bidding software.
A degree in quantity surveying, construction engineering, management, or related field.

1. To head the technical department of Port Klang, Merlimau, Pasir Gudang (thinner blending section) and Ipoh.
2. Supervising Senior Chemist and Chemist on R&D work.
3. Report chemical division research and development to Deputy General Manager and Executive director.
4. Report building division research and development to Deputy General Manager and Executive Director.
5. Supervising for QA and QC matter.
6. Design new product brochure, packing/label and prepare specification for building material.
7. Assist Sales department on customer service/complaint and technical support.
8. Provide advice on trouble-shooting for production.
9. Liaise with sales department for exploring on new product.
10. Assist sales department or management on technical issue for new market.
11. Prepare technical document if necessary for other business company requested by management.
12. Conduct technical orientation to new chemist and sales.
COMPETENCY LEVEL :
1. Minimum university degree in chemistry or chemistry related field. For example: applied chemistry, industry chemistry, etc.
2. Minimum 5 years working experience in company as senior chemist level or above or equivalent designation with similar field of business at other company.
3. Possess good technical knowledge on company’s product and related products.
4. Able to lead the team and manage subordinate.
5. Good analytical skill, resourceful on similar product.
6. Fluent in English and Malay languages. Good command of Chinese language is an added advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, implement, and manage the health and safety system to ensure compliance with statutory and company regulations and procedures.
Work closely with all department heads to provide input related to safety, health, and environmental matters.
Conduct safety briefing/training for all new employees, contractors, vendors & etc.
Liaise with relevant government authorities and resolve the safety issues arising from the site.
Conduct periodic safety meetings and audits to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
To assist during audits, and inspections and maintain all documentation and records.
To identify potential risks on the construction site and constantly track the safety & health performance under OSHA regulations.
Responsible for recording and reporting any safety and loss prevention plans, security procedures and accident report.
Evaluate and analyze any hazardous conditions and recommends remedial and preventive actions.
Enforce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) implementation at work site.
To conduct toolbox meetings.
Qualifications :
Candidate must possess at least a Degree/ Diploma in Safety and Health or related qualification
Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Competency License registered with DOSH / JKKP (Yellow book)

Bekerjasama rapat dengan semua ketua jabatan untuk memberikan input berkaitan keselamatan, kesihatan dan alam sekitar.
Menjalankan taklimat/latihan keselamatan untuk semua pekerja baharu, kontraktor, vendor & sebagainya.
Berhubung dengan pihak berkuasa kerajaan yang berkaitan dan selesaikan isu-isu keselamatan yang timbul dari tapak tersebut.
Menjalankan mesyuarat dan audit keselamatan secara berkala bagi memastikan pematuhan dengan keperluan HSE.
Untuk membantu semasa audit dan pemeriksaan serta menyelenggara semua dokumentasi dan rekod.
