Job Summary
Conduct audits and assessments of client CERT documents and drills to evaluate readiness and compliance, providing actionable recommendations and concise reports for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Review client Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) documents and records to evaluate compliance
- Conduct site walk-throughs to inspect response equipment and assess readiness at client premises
- Observe CERT physical drills and exercises to monitor effectiveness and adherence to protocols
- Identify gaps in CERT preparedness and provide practical, actionable recommendations for improvement
- Prepare and submit concise audit reports and checklists summarizing findings and suggested actions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience with Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), either National Service or Regular, is advantageous
- Prior involvement in CERT audits, drills, or exercises is preferred
- Ability to write clear, straightforward findings and action items for diverse audiences
- Attended SCDF Fire Safety Manager Course
