Supervisor Cum Lorry Driver

(Tentage & Funeral Services Company)

Job Responsibilities

1. Drive company lorry to transport tentage equipment, funeral setup materials, tables, chairs, and related items to funeral wake sites and other locations.
2. Supervise workers in the setup and dismantling of tents, canopies, tables, chairs, lighting, and funeral setup equipment.
3. Coordinate and ensure timely setup and dismantling of funeral wake setups according to the schedule.
4. Ensure proper loading, unloading, and handling of equipment to prevent damage.
5. Conduct site checks to ensure tentage and funeral setup structures are safe, stable, and properly installed.
6. Lead and guide ground workers to ensure work is completed efficiently and safely.
7. Ensure workers comply with company safety procedures and operational standards.
8. Monitor inventory and report damaged or missing equipment to the operations team.
9. Perform basic vehicle checks and ensure the company lorry is maintained in good condition.
10. Assist operations team in coordinating manpower and site arrangements when required.
11. Provide professional and respectful service when working at funeral wake sites.
12. Able to work long hours and perform overtime frequently due to operational and funeral service requirements.

Requirements

• Possess valid Singapore Class 3 driving license
• Minimum 2 years experience in tentage / logistics / funeral setup / event setup preferred
• Physically fit and able to handle manual work and outdoor setup
• Able to supervise workers and manage site operations
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work flexible hours when required
• 6 working days per week
• Willing to work overtime, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required
