Augmented Human Lab, at the Smart Systems Institute, National University of Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to work on the co-design and development of human–robot collaboration interfaces for high-risk operational scenarios such as chemical spill response and urban search-and-rescue.

Centre for Lifelong Learning and Individualised Cognition CLIC is a research collaboration between the University of Cambridge and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and hosted by the Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore (CARES) that aims to develop neuroscience-based interventions for lifelong flexible learning. Launched in October 2020 and funded by the National Research Foundation Singapore, CLIC brings together a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, neuroscientists, linguists and educators who conduct innovative research in the science of learning.

CLIC researchers are developing a neuroscience-based model of flexible learning, including important social contextual factors, in order to inform the design of practical, real-life interventions for use in schools and the workplace. The CLIC program is seeking one full-time Research Associate (with potential opportunities for reappointment). • Assist the Manager in taking off quantities. Bills Of Quantity preparations, pricing and preparation of tender submission, handle progress claims, VO and finalization of projects accounts
• Collaborating with vendors & suppliers in securing cost submissions, collecting new sample and materials
• Assist in Contract Administration and Management
• Attend site show round and project meetings when required
• Track changes to the design and liaise with work schedule and adjust budget projects accordingly
• Liaise & recommend payments to subcontractors to Finance Department
• Ensure smooth flow of all other project administrative function
• Other ad-hoc duties when assigned by superiors

Requirements:

• Resourceful, fast with willingness to take on additional responsibilities
• Meticulous with strong sense of work prioritization
• Independent, disciplined and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication & writing skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with bilingual speaking clients
• Good knowledge of standard conditions of contracts for construction projects
• At least 3 years of working experience in related field is required
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Application
