General Overview

The Lead Regas and Commissioning Engineer is a key member of the S2T FSRU Project execution team, responsible for leading and assuring the commissioning, start-up, and initial operation of the FSRU regasification systems and associated interfaces with onshore facilities.

The role is focused on hands-on execution leadership throughout the EPC and commissioning phase of the project, ensuring that all regasification and associated interface systems are commissioned safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with the Charterer’s Technical Specifications, regulatory requirements, and operational readiness objectives.

• Ensure effective integration between FSRU and onshore connecting infrastructure (OCI) across all systems for the whole duration of execution phase of the project.

• Support resolution of interface issues affecting safety, schedule, or operability. 

Commissioning, Start-up and Performance Testing Delivery

• Deputizes for SLNG FSRU Commissioning Manager as the regas commissioning Charterer focla point between Ship Owner and Shipyard.

• Work closely with Ship Owner to ensure FSRU commissioning, commissioning tests and performance tests are well integrated to the integrated commissioning program. 

Technical Assurance & Safety

• Ensure commissioning activities comply with process safety, permit-to-work, SIMOPS, and marine safety requirements.
• Participate actively in 3rd parties workshop reviews, commissioning risk assessments, and pre-start-up safety reviews (PSSR).
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical leadership during commissioning upsets or abnormal conditions.
• Review, comment and  endorse commissioning procedures, test packs, and start-up sequences related to regas systems.

Sales Region: 50% Singapore and 50% Asean (Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines)

• New customers creation. To identifying potential customers with planning and organizing sales call schedule by cold calls or given sales leads. Candidate is also required to maintain and servicing of existing customers. Address sales and engineering support goals, contributing to weekly, monthly and annual sales report, analysing expenses, identifying inconsistencies and troubleshooting issues.
• Prepare and making of product presentation, provide product application support, demonstrate or performing of Installation on the appropriate sales engineering equipment according toorders, specificities and preferences.

• Communicate with Principals (Suppliers) and Sales team together to drive for achieving sales goal. Selected candidate will be receiving product training, which may include product information, product application, maintenance, service support or deal with system breakdowns that occurred.

• Achieve related duties and responsibilities as necessary to support, organize and monitor the success of the sales engineering department and productivity. Serve customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, andservices.

• Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand their different need of product or service requirements. Prepare cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers and other professional personnel.

• Determines improvements by analysing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services. Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements. Develops customer’s staff by providing technical information and training.

• Complies with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and anticipating future legislation. Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.

• Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementingdirectives. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Photonics Engineering or related engineering field.
• 2 years of experience in sales industry preferred. Those without experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided

• New customer development. Ready to make cold calls. Presentation & Communication skills. Technical understanding.

• Requirements analysis & innovation. Familiar with Microsoft Office software.

• Date of Commencement: ASAP or short notice  

• Transport Allowance: SGD$80 per month

• Variable Bonus: Yes (Twice a year, May & Dec)

• Working Hours: 830am to 530pm (Mon - Fri)

• Annual Leave: 10 days (+ 1 day per year, max 16 days)
