The Role

A Test Analyst is responsible for initially identifying and subsequently defining the required tests, monitoring the test coverage and evaluating the overall quality experienced when testing the target test items.

Responsibilities:

· Understands the testing effort by analyzing the requirements of the project

· Defines the testing strategy

• Manage, monitor & assure good incoming part quality.

• Monitor & analyse part data & supplier’s performance to identify risks; develop plans to improve parts, suppliers to meet quality expectations.

• Train & enable technicians to function as effective detection and prevention gates of incoming materials to ensure good part quality.

ABILITY/COMPETENCY REQUIRED:

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement the Abnormal Handling (ABS/PAR/IEAR/BPD) system, assisting the FAB reviewing process abnormalities establishing an early warning notification system, with the aim of reducing quality loss and cost for the company and customers, and supervising the effectiveness of system execution.

Job Requirements:

• Candidates with more than 3 years of semiconductor process/quality/integration experience will be considered for a senior role

Your role in our team

• As the owner of the process control systems in the Pre-Treatment Units, Heat Treatment Unit & Tank farm, you will develop & improve refinery processes by following up, developing & executing modifications / improvements to the Distributed Control System (DCS), Safety Instrumented System (SIS) & other automation system applications
• Troubleshoot process deviations and lead major non-conformance investigations to resolve problems related to process control applications or safety interlock systems.
• Develop and drive alarm management workflow related to your area of responsibility.
• Develop and drive management of change (MOC) as change manager for PCS & SIS modifications
• Lead or support capital investment projects involving changes to the DCS, SIS or other automation system applications.
• Ensure process safety through functional safety / periodic proof tests, standards and specifications development and risk evaluation processes (Process Hazard Analysis, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL etc…)
• Process control systems related competence development at Singapore refinery in your area of responsibility.

• Design detailed test cases from test scenarios using functional knowledge of the Financial Service Data Model (FSDL) domain to validate data integrity and processes.
• Collaborate with test service providers and bank stakeholders to plan and coordinate all testing-related activities for programs or projects.
• Communicate scope changes promptly to test service providers and adjust plans to mitigate impact on testing schedules and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for issues raised by bank stakeholders regarding testing service providers, facilitating timely resolution.
• Quantify, track, and report test statuses, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure testing transformation targets are met.
• Participate in forums to contribute ideas and drive innovation in testing transformation initiatives.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Vendor Test Managers and Test Leads across relevant domains to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Required competencies and certifications

• 10-12 years of experience in test management activities.
• 8-10 years of experience in Banking with expertise in Financial Service Data Model (FSDL).
• 5+ years of experience with Teradata, Data Warehouse, ETL processes, and SQL.

Scopes and Responsibilities

• Follow and get involved in the design review phase.
• Work independently from the development team to qualify the products.
• Design and test components to qualify the specifications, quality, reliability, etc.
• Independently design test setups and determine methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products on complete prototypes/products, including hardware and embedded software, emphasizing functional aspects but also covering safety aspects, compliance with standards, etc.
• Prepare test plan and perform/coordinate tests with the defined setup, methodology, and procedures.
• Support the developers in feature discovery grooming.
• Define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions, and drive corrective actions along with the developers in product lifecycle management.
• Analyse state-of-the-art testing technologies and develop steps and processes to improve testing procedures in terms of efficiency and flexibility.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering, computer science, communication engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of work experience.
• Knowledge and experience in both hardware and firmware testing, including working with various operating systems.
• Hands-on experience in testing methodologies.
• Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.
• Experience in general lab equipment such as multimeter, oscilloscope, bench power supply.
• Experience in instrument control and test automation using Python, Labview, or similar.
• Experience in testing communication protocols such as MODBUS, PMBUS, CAN, or similar.
• Experience in dealing with products with higher than 1kW output would be an advantage.
• Experience developing a GUI for monitoring and debugging using PyQt, Tkinter, Labview, or similar tools would be an advantage.
• Experience in EMC and electrical safety testing would be an advantage.

The candidate will be the Test Lead for Corporate Actions project and responsible for test strategy & planning, automation, NFR and end-to-end testing delivery ownership.
