Pest Control Technician (Marine & General)

Join us and work onboard vessels, visit shipyards, and occasionally head offshore to service cruise ships and commercial vessels. This is not your typical pest control job. Join us as part of a specialised marine pest control team.

About the Role

We are a specialist pest control company supporting vessels and land-based facilities in Singapore. The role covers both onboard vessel pest control and general pest control for residential homes, offices,warehouses and commercial sites.

Ideal for individuals who are hands-on, adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Carry out pest control treatments onboard vessels and at land-based sites
• Perform inspection, spraying, baiting and trapping
• Assess pest activity and identify potential risk areas
• Recommend practical measures to manage and resolve pest issues
• Prepare and maintain equipment and chemicals
• Take photos and assist in service reporting
• Follow company SOP and safety procedures

• Starting salary: SGD $3,000 – $3,500 (depending on relevant experience and certifications)

• Work schedule: 5 days per week (Monday to Friday), 9:00am – 6:30pm

• Working Location: Central Novena

• Benefits: 1-month contract performance bonus and annual salary increment subject to appraisal

• Contract: 1-year renewable contract (based on performance)
  

Roles & Responsibilities: Governance – Insurance Call Reviews

• Execute Quality Assurance objectives by conducting regular call reviews and identifying potential risks for management attention.

• Review 15 closed sales calls daily for the General Insurance team.

• Serve as a backup for Auto Insurance call review requirements.

• Immediately report any calls with potential quality issues (e.g., misrepresentation, fraudulent activity) to management.

• Prepare, track, and submit Quality Assurance reports to management and the team, including NMD, Service Quality Monthly, and Penalty Points Table.

• Monitor and manage the full lifecycle of Quality Assurance cases, providing timely updates to management.

• Participate in weekly meetings with management to discuss discrepancies and implement improvements.

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  

Job Requirements

• Possession of BCP and PGI Certificates is an advantage.

• Preferably with quality assurance experience and knowledge of insurance products.

• Able to evaluate and provide feedback on English and Mandarin calls and scripts.

• Meticulous, responsible, and a strong team player.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Able to multitask and manage priorities effectively.

• Fast learner with a willingness to learn multiple insurance products.
