Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement & Sales Support Executive to manage global sourcing,supplier relationships, procurement activities, and export customer coordination for our food and pet food business. The successful candidate will ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of products while supporting export sales operations and maintaining strong relationships with local & overseas customers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Supplier Management

• Source and procure food products, pet food products from local and international suppliers.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers to ensure supply continuity and competitive pricing.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality standards, and delivery reliability.
• Resolve procurement, quality, and supply-related issues with suppliers.

Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs brokers to ensure smooth import and export operations.
• Manage purchase orders, shipment schedules, and inventory replenishment.
• Monitor lead times and maintain adequate stock levels to support production and customer demand.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods while optimizing freight and logistics costs.

Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure all purchased products and materials comply with food safety, quality, and pet food regulatory requirements.
• Maintain supplier certifications, product specifications, and compliance documentation.
• Support audits and supplier qualification processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international trade regulations and import/export requirements.

Export Sales Coordination & Customer Support

• Coordinate export orders and shipment schedules with overseas distributors, importers, and customers.
• Follow up on customer forecasts, purchase plans, and inventory requirements.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, lead times, and shipment status.
• Support business development activities by maintaining strong relationships with international customers.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints and supply-related issues.
• Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to support business growth.

Reporting & Cost Management

• Monitor procurement spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze supplier and customer performance metrics.
• Prepare procurement, inventory, and sales coordination reports.
• Track market trends affecting ingredient costs, supply availability, and customer demand.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Food Science, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, export sales coordination, or related functions.
• Experience in the food, pet food, FMCG, ingredients, manufacturing, or trading industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with international sourcing and export operations is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the Procurement technical deliverables are met during the regular manufacturing phases and New Product Development phases.

• Works with R&D and Engineering teams to optimize the new designs or design modifications in terms of Cost, Quality, Sustainability, Manufacturability, Resilience and Lead Time, and industrializes them thru the right suppliers.

• Makes sure that the Part Quality Control Plan is defined for each part and it is properly implemented, thru periodical Quality System Audits and Process Audits.

• Project Manager for assigned horizontal Procurement processes or projects, leading their implementation within the organization.

• Lead resourcing projects to reduce cost, to improve resiliency, sustainability, social responsibility or any other need.

• Responsible for the sourcing strategy of assigned technologies for Print business related to the Procurement Engineering organization.

• Building market technology and cost intelligence at part/subsystem/function level, identifying the possible suppliers.

• Influencing early design decisions to get the most efficient inbound supply chain for new products (dfx).

• Strong focus in cost control, cost reduction, and cost avoidance techniques is a must.

• Responsible to select and manage the assigned suppliers and technologies.

• Integrating the needs of all the New Program Developments and entities (GBU, Product Engineering, Global Manufacturing Operations, Distribution Centers, Service, and others), and driving their results.

• Negotiating with vendors pre and post Manufacturing Release Cost Reduction, and the rest of business deliverables (including terms & conditions, contracts and Intellectual Property handling).

• Growing a strong partner relationship by building personal empathy and thru proactive and fair interactions.
  

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's/ Master Degree in Industrial, Materials, Supply Chain or Chemical Engineering, with professional experience in Procurement and Vendors Management.

• Minimum 8 years of experience on vendors / partners management in the industrial sectors. Knowledge and experience in Plastic Injection tools and parts manufacturing, Modules Assembly and Testing,  Textile materials, Filters, Elastomers, Foams or other mechanical technologies will be highly valued.

• Strong leadership and creativity; be a role model with  proactive attitude, able to effectively sell own ideas, and to influence others to buy-in and follow them without having direct control. Creative mindset, proposing and implementing transformational ideas, innovative in the daily basis.

• Project Management skills: Excellence in planning deploying cross-organizational implementation plans thru partners, timely track progress, identify deviations and proactively take corrective actions. Able to see big picture and good prioritizing skills.

• Availability to travel.

• Strong market intelligence (intuition, inquisitiveness, strategic vision). Able to understand companies financials.

• Strong negotiation skills, Able to get the best deal for HP without breaking the relationship and without impacting the schedules. Good control of the communication pace. • Able to understand mechanical parts specifications, 2D drawings, part quality control plans, manufacturing processes, cost breakdowns. Able to build cost models, solve quality issues and perform part manufacturing process audits at suppliers site. Able to provide strong technical inputs to new designs (DFX).

Metric Management

• Drive and align the FE Production team on critical reports for Line Management, Inventory Management and Cycle time.

• Own and maintain the Global Inventory Metrics, Business processes and Reports.

• Consolidate Fab Metrics performance and roll up for executive metrics update.

• Partner with sites closely to enable timely communication of fab deviation to plan.

• Improvement of efficiency of network Fab metrics consolidation through automation

Optimize the Inventory and Line Performance for the FE Network

• Able to analyze line performance and provide line direction through concept of Line Management and Inventory Management to meet NPI business plan.

• Fluent in the basic concept of weekly wafer starts and wafer outs business process.

• Forecast potential roadblocks in NPI inventory management and develop mitigation plans with the site NPI Managers.

• Collaborate with Area/Shift Production, Engineering, and IE to continually improve NPI metrics (wafers starts, wafer out, samples delivery, cycle time)

• Lead proof-of-concepts and facilitate deployment of BKM reports and automation to improve fab/ probe area efficiency and productivity.

• Develop manufacturing science concepts to NPI line management and NPI inventory scheduling.

• Participate in the WW SIC forums, facilitate NPI network meetings and sustain/audit existing BKMs and business processes in the network.

• Create an environment of motivation to foster global team member’s engagement to the fullest of their potential.

• Promote and model the use of automation, analytical and systematic thinking processes.

Supply Chain Management

• Maintain open and regular two-way communication with Supply Chain teams to understand upcoming Die Mix and Pull-in changes

• Liaise and partner with Supply Chain teams to develop plans that support NPI Qual and Sample schedule to meet customer demand.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field of study or equivalent experience

• Intermediate knowledge of the 300mm semiconductor manufacturing process is preferred.

• 1-2 years experience in Inventory Control/Production Planning/Line Management

• Thorough knowledge of Micron’s Lot Tracking, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, Line Management systems and related production and planning reporting tools.

• Demonstrate ability to solicit feedback, accept input and analyze success/failure in order to increase team’s effectiveness.

• Demonstrate understanding of different Mfg Area and different departments such as OI/PIE/Change Management to assist in area improvement projects.

• Demonstrate success in utilizing their knowledge of Mfg Area processes and equipment to make informed, confident decisions.

• Demonstrate meticulousness and striving for accuracy.

• Intermediate to advance proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• SQL, Tableau, Reporting capability to enable automation is preferred.

Purchasing Admin (Procurement Support) – Tai Seng | Up to $2,300 | 5 Days

We are hiring a Purchasing Admin to support procurement operations, vendor coordination, and purchasing administration in a structured office environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) in system
• Request and compare supplier quotations
• Liaise with vendors on pricing, delivery schedules, and order updates
• Track and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely arrival
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and contracts
• Coordinate with internal teams (warehouse, finance, operations)
• Assist in inventory monitoring and replenishment planning
• Resolve discrepancies in orders, invoices, or deliveries
• Maintain supplier database and documentation
• Support procurement team with general admin duties

Job Requirements

• Minimum O Level (no NITEC/Poly required)
• At least 2 years of admin / clerical experience
• Able to speak Mandarin (due to client communication needs)
• Proficient in basic office documentation and coordination
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
