Job Description
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capability
Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings
Issue purchase orders and ensure accuracy of order details
Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, and internal departments
Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials when needed
Resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or defective items
Maintain proper documentation of purchases, contracts, and invoices
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (typically 1–3+ years)
Strong negotiation and cost analysis skills
Good knowledge of sourcing and vendor management
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Ability to analyze quotations and make cost-effective decisions
Strong organizational and time management skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
