Job Overview

As an Assistant Manager/Manager, Procurement, you are to lead and oversee end-to-end Procurement activities for assigned categories relating to hospital products & services, ensuring alignment with clinical and operational requirements. Partner stakeholders across clinical, operational, and other functions to deliver procurement outcomes.

Work location will be located at Tengah Town District, hospital is not yet ready for operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure sourcing of products and services is in alignment with clinical and operational needs.

• Drive and implement cost containment strategies, aligned with operational priorities and financial objectives.

• Manage end-to-end sourcing activities including evaluation, negotiation and award recommendation in accordance with procurement policies and governance framework.

• Continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency

• Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, business, supply chain or related discipline.

• Minimum 6 years of procurement experiencese

• Demonstrated experiences in supervising procurement team

• Process knowledge of procurement governance

• Proven analytical and negotiation skills

• Strong verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels

• Familiarity with SAP procurement module is required

• Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel

Role: The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for managing and moving inventory across facilities. They will be responsible for sorting, organising and preparing inventory for delivery, as well as packing items correctly, and notifying management of any irregularities. The role is in a cold room environment (-20C).

Working Hours: 6 day week, Monday to Saturday, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

• Receiving incoming shipments according to company SOP, including checking, retrieving, unloading and organising items in the cold room and warehouse
• Properly accounting for the location of incoming goods, and comparing packing lists/DO to company invoices to ensure complete shipments have arrived, and reporting irregularities to supervisor
• Stack and organize large bulk items
• Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location
• Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
• Preparing, packing and labelling outgoing shipments according to company SOP
• Ensuring no damaged goods are sent or received
• Handling and checking Halal ingredients and products according to company rules and MUIS regulations
• Conducting daily physical stock check of goods in warehouse, and updating supervisor via report
• Updating product inventory as required
• Maintaining required standards of cleanliness, organisation and housekeeping
• Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory
• Observing workplace safety practices, including wearing safety gear at all times and ensuring workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles
• Prepare documentation and inventory for audits and management reports
• Other related duties that may be agreed mutually from time to time

Job Requirements

• Secondary School Qualification
• 2 Year of relevant work experience / in the related field
• Logistics / Warehouse experience and Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge will be an advantage
• Good team player

About The Role

As a Manager/Senior Manager for the Strategic Procurement - General Services office, you will be based in ALPS HQ office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead RFPs for selected workstreams within General Services domain.

• Develop sourcing strategy and engage with relevant stakeholders in the PHIs and Clusters.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and identified Cluster domain champions to harmonize specifications and operational practice.

• Embed resiliency within each workstream as a means to ensure services and supply continuity for hospitals and patients.

• Identify cost containment opportunities to limit cost growth and deliver savings.

• Adopt a holistic risk-based approach in strategic procurement.

• Ensure completion of procurement within cycle time.

• Conduct regular vendor performance evaluation as part of value delivery under contract management.

• Ideate and execute digital & sustainability initiatives.

• Be part of the team and provide guidance to procurement domain leads.

• Be part of the ALPS ecosystem.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies requirement, policies and procedures as per ALPS Procurement Manual.

• Demonstrate high level integrity and help enforce compliance to procurement and HR policies with team members.

• Drive the need to consolidate, rationalise and streamline for better savings.

• Manage disputes between users, institution buyers, analyse the situation, arbitrate and provide solutions to the problem.

• Assist team in developing key strategies for future business needs, encompassing the internal resources, suppliers and partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce/Finance, Operations Management

• Must have working experience in a healthcare environment and/or with knowledge in services and non-medical supplies (for example logistics service, transportation service, ambulatory service, clinical service).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective stakeholder engagement at all levels.

• Candidates with ability to analyze data (e.g., Tableau, advanced Excel) and background in healthcare or hospitality services and leadership experience preferred.

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Warehouse Assistant & General Workshop Caretaker to support daily warehouse and workshop operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and able to work well both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Duties

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods
• Pick, pack, and prepare items for delivery or internal use
• Assist in stock‑taking and inventory checks
• Organize warehouse shelves, tools, and materials
• Support loading and unloading activities
• Work with internal teams and delivery personnel
• Assist in basic documentation (delivery orders, stock movement forms, etc.)

Workshop Caretaking

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of workshop areas
• Perform basic cleaning and upkeep of tools, equipment and fixtures
• Assist technicians with simple tasks when required
• Manage safe disposal of waste and support recycling efforts

Requirements

• Minimum Secondary School education
• Experience in warehouse or workshop operations is an advantage
