Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and verify engineering calculations, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure compliance with design intent, regulatory standards, and project requirements.

• Coordinate technical submissions, Requests for Information (RFIs), and drawing approvals with consultants, contractors, and relevant stakeholders.

• Develop detailed work programmes, conduct quantity take-offs, and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and construction method statements to support efficient project execution.

• Supervise and manage on-site construction activities, including setting out works, verifying levels and dimensions, and ensuring works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.

• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and material testing to ensure compliance with project quality standards and engineering best practices.

• Manage and resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and implement corrective actions to maintain project quality and compliance.

• Ensure strict adherence to Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) regulations on site.

• Manage permit applications, regulatory submissions, and coordination with relevant authorities where required.

• Monitor project progress, construction schedules, and cost performance while preparing progress reports, redline drawings, and as-built documentation for project completion.

• Collaborate with internal departments, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of project milestones.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and local building codes and standards.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant engineering software is an advantage.

• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

• Willingness to be site-based and actively involved in project execution.

• Open to fresh graduates as well as experienced candidates, with responsibilities commensurate with experience.
