Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily procurement activities, including sourcing products, comparing costs, preparing quotations, negotiating prices, placing orders, and following up on deliveries.
• Coordinate with the operations and sales teams to complete orders.
• Maintain accurate purchase, pricing, and invoice records, and ensure invoices match the PO/DO.
• Build and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
• Review supplier options and handle disputes with customers/suppliers when needed.
• Review approved vendors regularly and comply with ISO and internal policies.
• Support other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

To act as a specialist in the deployment, optimization, and continuous evolution of Accor’s integrated IT solutions across hotel ecosystems. The role bridges technical depth with business insight, ensuring that digital solutions deliver measurable value to hotel operations and guest experience

• Integrated IT Solution Enablement: Lead the technical and functional enablement of Accor’s IT Offer (PMS, POS, CRM, etc.), ensuring seamless integration and local adaptability. Act as the technical lead for interface connectivity functions. Liaison between Distribution System Support, Regional IT and Central (Paris).
• Performance Analysis & Optimization: Analyze system performance across the hotel network, identify optimization opportunities, and propose data-driven enhancements.
• Technology Advisory & Innovation: Advise hotel stakeholders on technology selection and integration strategies. Scout and assess emerging technologies (e.g., AI, automation) for relevance and adoption.
• Cross-functional Training & Enablement: Design and support training programs that build transversal IT capabilities across hotel teams, beyond tool-specific usage.

• PMS Rollout: Act as leader for the deployment. Provide deep functional and technical insight to support the exécution of the rollout plan. Colaborate with internal teams (product, operationals, GMs) and external partners to ensure readiness, validate solution fit and troubleshooting deployment issues. Deliver structure feedaback to product teams on system performance, localizaton needs and user experience. Maintain and manage within the Region, the PMS environments to Accor business needs.

Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for construction projects

Conduct quantity surveys to determine material, labor, and time requirements for accurate project costing

Manage contract administration, including variations, claims, and final accounts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms

Monitor project costs and budgets, providing regular reports and forecasts to management

Conduct site measurements and valuations, preparing and submitting progress claims and payments

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials, equipment, and services

Prepare and issue purchase orders, monitor delivery schedules, and follow up on outstanding orders

Review and analyze supplier performance, pricing, and contracts to secure cost savings

Maintain accurate records of purchases, quotations, contracts, and supplier databases

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations

Liaise closely with project managers, site teams, and other internal departments to coordinate purchasing and cost control activities

Main purpose of the job

The Liaison Director plays a critical role in bridging the gap between the global and regional units of a global organization and connects Global Procurement Office with Asahi Group Holdings. The focus should be on promoting effective collaboration and alignment while achieving procurement excellence at both global and regional levels with primary focus on Asahi Group Japan.

The Liaison Director coordinates to establish and maintain robust communication channels between two or more organizations (main focus on GPO, AGH, AGJ, local Japanese businesses), ensuring that all parties are well-informed and aligned on joint projects, policies, or objectives. Partners with GPO Leadership team members and regional Procurement team.

This position reports to the Global Procurement CEO.

Accountabilities and deliverables

• Supports to liaison in alignment with relevant GPO teams and regional procurement team (AGJ) regardless of language in a timely manner

• Ensure Alignment of Global Category Strategies: Ensure that the global procurement strategy aligns with the specific procurement needs and regulations of each region (focus on Japan), taking into account factors such as local suppliers, market conditions, and supply chain dynamics.
• Standardization and Localization: Find the right balance between standardizing procurement processes globally for efficiency and localizing them as needed to address regional variations.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Facilitate communication and collaboration between global procurement and regional teams (focus on AGJ) to effectively manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring consistent standards and performance evaluations.
• Demand Forecasting: Coordinate information sharing between global and regional teams (focus on Japan) to improve demand forecasting accuracy, enabling more efficient procurement planning and inventory management.
• Cost Optimization: Work with both global and regional units to identify opportunities for cost savings, whether through bulk purchasing, negotiation strategies, or leveraging local suppliers.
