STRATEGIC PLANNING

• Assists in implementing strategies for operational management and development so as to meet organizational plans and goals within budgets and timelines

• Motivate and lead a high performance management team to achieve sales, profitability and business objectives set by the company
• Provide day-to-day leadership and management to a service organization that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company
• Groom and build a team of motivated F&B professionals for the company’s aggressive expansion plan
• Oversee and ensure smooth running of all aspects of restaurant operations
• Define processes and monitoring systems to ensure food and services are adhered to a high quality standard
• Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internally and externally

Job Description

We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Director to lead the overall operations, performance, and growth of our healthcare business. This role will oversee multiple functions and drive both operational excellence and long-term business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall business operations, including clinic performance, administration, and commercial outcomes
• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth, scalability, and market expansion
• Oversee and manage multiple clinics or business units (if applicable), ensuring consistent operational standards
• Build, lead, and mentor management teams, including clinic managers and senior staff
• Drive financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including guidelines from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and service offerings
• Oversee marketing strategy, branding, and patient acquisition initiatives
• Establish governance frameworks, SOPs, and performance KPIs across the organization

Requirements

• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record in managing business operations, preferably in healthcare, wellness, or TCM sector
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in revenue growth and cost management
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and scaling operations
• Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate both at strategic and operational levels

Roles & Responsibilities
Roles:

• Escalate PMI tasks related to M&A (specifically overall control, documentation of regulations and rules, J-SOX compliance, etc.) in close coordination with the Japan headquarters.
• Create internal and external reports on all matters, including M&A integration work, regulation formulation, and coordination with the Japan headquarters.
• Train successors to maintain and improve the business.
• Understand the entire business model and plan for potential company growth.
• Analyze, prevent, manage, and mitigate business risks.
• Plan to prevent problems, discover new issues, and solve them effectively.
• Negotiate key contract terms, guide contract creation, and obtain permits and licenses.
• Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks throughout the execution process.
• Plan and develop human resources.
• Formulate and analyze budgets.

Skills:

• Over 3 years of experience in the construction equipment rental industry.
• Experience in the construction and real estate industries.
• Knowledge of business processes, means, and methods in construction-related equipment rental.
• Ability to communicate effectively with local employees in Singapore and employees at the Japan headquarters to progress work.
• Ability to understand the "big picture" and plan ahead.
• Crisis management and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership and personnel management skills in careful business operations.
• Execution skills for scheduling and progress management of projects.
  

Manage daily operations including sales performance, cost control, staffing, and service quality.

Drive Profitability & Business Strategy

Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, optimize costs, and improve overall profitability (P&L responsibility).

Team Leadership & People Management

Lead recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management of both front-of-house and kitchen teams.

Ensure Customer Experience Excellence

Maintain high service standards, handle customer feedback/complaints, and ensure a premium dining experience.

Compliance & Hygiene Standards

Ensure full compliance with Singapore food safety regulations, licensing requirements, and hygiene standards.

Proven ability to manage diverse teams and handle day-to-day operational challenges effectively.

Strong understanding of cost control, revenue management, and basic P&L.
