As an Internal Audit, Associate, Senior Auditor in the Asia Pacific Corporate Functions Audit Team, you will lead and participate in audit engagements focused on Global and APAC Risk Management and Compliance processes and controls across multiple business lines and asset classes. Job responsibilities

• Lead and support the execution of Risk Management and Compliance audits within the Global and APAC Corporate Functions Internal Audit Plan, ensuring comprehensive coverage across business lines and legal entities. Plan, execute, and perform data-driven audit activities independently, maintaining high standards and adherence to professional practices.

• Analyze risks, identify root causes, and provide recommendations for improvement. Communicate audit findings and opinions on control effectiveness clearly and concisely to management and stakeholders.

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting transparency and open dialogue. Collaborate with other audit teams to ensure early identification and reporting of emerging control issues.

• Stay current on industry, regulatory, accounting, and technology developments, sharing best practices with the team.

• Monitor and review learning and development opportunities, influencing training agendas for the team.

• Participate in business initiatives to support department and firm objectives, promoting engagement and inclusion.

• Promote an inclusive and diverse work environment, encouraging questions, advice-seeking, and continuous learning.

• The role may also require applicants to support other Corporate Functions audits from time to time.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 6 years of audit or relevant risk, markets, compliance, regulatory experience in an international banking environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.

• Demonstrable knowledge of risk monitoring and management, including credit, market and liquidity risk metrics and stress testing, as well as operational and model risk.

• Strong data analytics capability with experience using tools/languages such as Excel (advanced), SQL, Python, Alteryx or similar, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and analytical testing.

• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking, with an independent and objective approach.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

• Commitment to self-development and adaptability in a changing environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA or CAMS

• Knowledge of risk metrics such as Value at Risk (VaR), Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL), and stress testing.

• Understanding of emerging industry and regulatory changes impacting risk management.

• Project management skills and strong relationship management capabilities.

We are partnering with a leading global industrial gases and engineering company to appoint a Senior Auditor to join its Corporate Internal Audit function based in Singapore, supporting APAC-wide audit activities.

The role is responsible for delivering independent assurance and advisory engagements that strengthen governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks across regional operations. The Senior Auditor will evaluate business processes, identify control gaps, and provide practical, value-added recommendations to improve efficiency, compliance, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of audit engagements, including scope definition, objectives, timelines, and coordination with audited entities

Key Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 4 years external audit experience with a Big Four firm
• Strong exposure to multinational or regional audit environments preferred
• Experience in cross-border or complex operating structures is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP accounting standards
• Solid understanding of accounting processes, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience in SOX testing and internal control frameworks
• Knowledge of corporate governance and enterprise risk management principles
• Exposure to audit assignments such as operational audits, investigations, or due diligence work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret financial and operational data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with IDEA or Celonis is preferred
• Exposure to AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) is an advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with high professionalism and attention to detail

Internal Auditor/ Senior Internal Auditor

OUI is looking to hire an Internal Auditor/Senior Internal Auditor to support the Group in strengthening internal controls, governance and risk management processes across its subsidiaries. The position offers broad exposure to a wide range of internal audit engagements including audits of technology-enabled operations across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

1.       Perform risk-based internal audits in accordance with approved annual audit plan.

2.       Execute end-to-end audit procedures, including process walkthroughs, documentation of key processes, identification of key risks and controls, and evaluation of control design and operating effectiveness.

3.       Develop clear, well-structured audit workpapers and draft concise, insight driven audit observations, including root cause analysis and practical recommendation.

4.       Collaborate effectively with global and cross-functional stakeholders to obtain information, conduct walkthroughs and discuss audit observations.

5.       Facilitate and participate in closing meetings to communicate audit observations.

6.       Assist in drafting and finalising the audit reports, including risk implications, recommendations and management response and action plans.

Requirements

3.     Sound knowledge of risk-based internal auditing, internal control frameworks and auditing techniques.

4.    Demonstrate strong willingness to learn about business processes, internal controls andrisk environment.

5.    Meticulous, proactive and independent team player.

6.    Able to travel for overseas business trips(~ 20%).
